On a solid wood dresser I would attempt sanding parts that may be sticking first and applying the spray lubricant and sometimes I have luck sanding the opening of the dresser around where the drawer goes in and may be sticking. You can instal tracts or glides to an antique like that but it’s a bit of a labor so I’d try the above first and 🤞

Hi, iv’e had the same problem. What i did with my drawers is buy plastic drawer sockets at home depot, it attaches to the back of the drawer. I kept my wood glide and added wax to allow it to glide smoothly. My solution had the original wood glide with a plastic socket. From this video, i’m understanding that the other solution would be to remove both the metal and the wood and replace it with the Swisco drawer track kit 32-053. It’s very similar to my first solution. You add the new metal track and the glide that attaches to the back of the drawer is plastic. Now while i was searching online i found another possible solution: Rockler Single Track Slide. It’s very similar but has little wheels to help the drawer glide. I hope this helps :)

Yes, so you either need to replace the plastic part or you need to buy the new slide set from the website I provide or some other place. You can also try flipping the wood piece upside down, it’s not ideal but can work in a pinch. You just unscrew the wood piece and flip it upside down. Does that make sense? @@blacksheephouse ave the same issue, wood on bottom and metal on the drawer bottom. I replaced the wood piece on one drawer. However each drawer falls completely out when I pull it out. Do I need the socket? If so, how do I know what size to buy.

Do you think it’s the slide or how it’s in there? How big is the drawer? Sometimes a single drawer slide on a large drawer makes them wobble.
