These work so well ive been doing them these past few days and noticed im not in pain when i get up to walk. It comes back and i just take a moment to stretch and im good to go

This is tried and tested. U must believe it and practice for few days. Do it at least 3 times a day . 10 sets each. I had unbelievable recovery.

The muscles on the top of your foot are cramped. Push your toes down towards your heel and feel the stretch on the top of your foot. Keep the top muscles stretched out daily and the tendon on the bottom of your foot can heal. Calf raises don’t relieve the tension on the bottom of your foot.

That's the point, you need to strengthen the muscles too.... stretching helps in the short term. The plantar fascia isn't a tendon either.

@@digitalphysio A tendon is a cord of tissue, plantar fascia is a band of tissue. Does this matter? I don’t think you’ve ever experienced this. If you have plantar fasciitis, there is a very good chance you got it from exercising your foot. Making it stronger. It hurts the most when you rest your foot, then try to put pressure on it. The morning is the worst. Simply limping and eventually walking around will help loosen it up and relieve pain until you rest it again. So yes, these exercises will give you temporary relief. If you want this to heal, keep the muscles on the top of your foot stretched out. If you do this, you will notice a difference immediately and the first morning. The “band of tissue” will heal in place. It’s hurting because it’s in a constant state of overstretch. If you have plantar fasciitis, everything I just wrote probably rings true. Give it a shot, it’s easier than these exercises, and you won’t be disappointed.

If you have plantar fasciitis, do the exercises on this video before bed. Wake up and stand on your feet. The next day stretch the muscles on the top of your foot before bed. Wake up and stand on your feet. You’re welcome

My favorite one is pretty much the single leg calf raise you showed here but on a stair or something so that you can get the entire range of motion. It strengthens the ankle, but you can also hurt your ankle if your tolerance for that is low, which is why I'd start with both legs first.

Doing the calf raises on a step helps as well. I let the back of my foot hang off of the step and lift. It helps. The night splint boot from Amazon helps too. It stretches it out.

I have Haglund Deformity with Bursitis, insertional tendinitis and doing these exercises with shockwave therapy from my physio...it has helped a lot but still get some pain after 7 months.

I did 5 Shockwave treatments hoping for relief, but didn't feel it was doing much, unfortunately, and didn't want to continue to pay $200 a visit. I am glad you got some relief. I am going to start putting castor oil on my foot nightly for inflammation.

Shockwave therapy works situationally. For long-term but slower outcomes have you tried exercise? A short-term bandaid solution, having some orthotics have helped some of my patients before.

I have pain on the arch of my foot, not the heels. will this exercise help or make it worse? i am scared i will make it even worse.

So I was told I have this and have flat feet . What new balance do yall recommend for flat feet I got the 840 ne balance thinking it would help I'm on day 4 still sore as he'll

Hard for me to tell exactly but new shoes take days/weeks to break in before your foot gets used it. Keep persisting and see if your foot begins to settle!

I have a pain from back of my knee till my heel. My heel pains a lot if i stand for little long or walk much. I have 2 disc bulge and sometimes I get sciatica pain also. Not sure I have plantar facitis or is it just sciatica

Sorry to hear seasonalfruit1673, it's hard for me to tell exactly what's going on. However, sometimes plantar fasciitis symptoms are similar to sciatica. I would definitely visit a local healthcare professional to get an assessment.

@@digitalphysio None of the exercises I had at the physio clinic last year worked either. I suspect the root of the problem is somewhere around the lower back

@@digitalphysio Very little and very occasionally but according to an MRI there seems to be something awry there and I've watched this video from this physiotherapist who has 20 years of experience who claims plantar fasciitis is linked to the sciatic nerve

Magnesium can help with cramps, particularly in the calves. Not too much strong evidence showing effectiveness for tendinitis

See a health professional to make sure you have the right diagnosis. Making the feet stronger, maybe insoles in the short term and reducing walking will fix the problem. It takes time though.
