Fab video, been there done that, spent ages doing exactly what you've just done with the same outcomes! :-) Obviously Big Grins when you finally get to bottom & remembering to ease the car forwards or backwards to engage. Best point ever is how easy most repairs can be & you still get the delight of learning something new - well done! Probably the best overall, it's a Wolf! Thanks for a great Video.....
Thanks very much for the positive feedback, much appreciated 🙂 good to know others have been through the same process and it also took ages 😂 I did curse quite a lot at times, but definitely fun to learn this, and very happy when it was finally sorted as you say.... On to the next jobs now 😃
Great video! This job has been on my list for months now and haven't felt like tackling it and messing around with the linkage. Thanks for all the detail and glad you got yours all sorted :) Fingers crossed for me haha
You beat me to it, I had just had exactly that issue, replaced the light switch and the light worked again. Made the comment before watching your excellent video to the end.
Good detailed video. The wolfs look great! Question about the acoustic mat system. How does the handbrake mount with the mat system in place? Does it bolt on top of the mat or to the seat box as originally designed? Also, is there much clearance between the handbrake base/mount and the transmission tunnel mat? I have the same mat system and the handbrake doesn’t really fit with the matting in place. Also, how is the seat box mat fitted around the latches for the under seat box lids. Cheers
Thanks very much! My Wolf's have both had the matting in two parts - one for the floor/footwells/tunnel, and one part around the seat boxes. The part for the seat boxes has sections cut out of it for the latches and for the handbrake, so the handbrake bolts directly to the seat box, as originally. There's a small amount of clearance between handbrake and mat for the tunnel, but not that much! Happy to share photos if you drop me a private message. I'll also be doing a video on tidying up the footwells in the next couple of weeks, so will try to include in that.
@@Rich_Runs_Carsthanks for detailed reply, that helps immensely. If you wouldn’t mind adding something about the mat system and how it’s fitted into the next video that would be great. There isn’t a lot of close ups of installs of these mats that I can find. It’s one of those things you don’t want to mess up as it’s very hard undo if you get it wrong. I would be interested in some additional pictures but I don’t know how to contact you.
@@carltonr3417 Glad it helps. These have already been installed in the Wolfs I've had, but I suspect the key is getting the holes cut correctly! I'll definitely include some video of the mats next - probably a couple of weeks.
@@Rich_Runs_Cars that will be fantastic. I look forward to the video! It will be interesting to see how the MOD installed their mats, as no doubt they consulted with the manufacturer (Wright Off Road) on how they were intended to be cut out out at various places. Also have a look at the seat spacers where they bolt to the seat box, as the spacers I’ve seen are quite tall.
