I work at Amazon and honestly my Timbs look worse than this I've been dying to restore them because I really don't want to cough up more money thank you for making this video
@@GTNLN78 Thanks for this. What brand would you recommend. I have a pair of pale pink limited edition. Even though I folded the leg of my blue denim up to prevent the color touching, some blue did transfer. I want to clean before the sye set in. Also, I poorly advise to try toothpaste to remove the color and now a portion of my shoe is significantly darker. The color will return after they dry, right? Please help. Thank you
If your just going to use dish soap like that you might want to rinse that off. xD dish soap can dry out and crack leather over time. Saddle soap is made to clean and moisturize leather if you are interested in using the proper soap for leather.
i was just looking for a tutorial to clean my timberlands and I was not expecting THAT😂 by far funniest shoe cleaning video I've ever seen maybe even funniest tutorial overall just amazing
Just here to say thank you so much!!! I've been holding onto some size 4.5 pink timbs for 19 years, and I couldn't let em go even with the chicken grease splatter 😂 They're damn near brand new 😊
Thank you bro that was a good video man nobody puts back on itself out I like the fact that you told us when we could get the supplies for cheap thank you thank you
I would LOVE to see you try a restore my dad's work Timbs. Those shoes have been abused asf since he wears them everyday in the field. I almost cried when I saw them 3 months after I gifted them
Timberland makes a Pro boot that are a little more rugged, but if he doesn't need steel toes they might be less comfortable. I promise your money was well spent, wearing cheap shoes to work will RUIN your feet.
@@skepchica yeah I gave him the pros but they still got all messed up😭 the leather is cracked and faded… honestly he didn’t really take care of them as he should’ve. But his feet felt much better so that’s all that matters
“She make me happy, she make me smile, she brought me up, oo when you let me down. She nothing you, she different, she nothing like she magnificentttt” shoutout Kodak
they still gonna look and feel like leather and be a lot lighter than crispy new joints tho. Thats the problem with dirty timbs not so much taking the dirt off
Hi ya buddy I’ve got some timberland boots and I have tried your method of cleaning them and one boot is slightly lighter than the other what can I do to restore this please so they both match cheers
Man bro thank you so much bro you just saved me $200 dollars big dog i swear to god you brought those back to life wow that was amazing bro I'm about to clean mines as I'm texting you right now bro thank you so much for teaching me that👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💪🏼 salute gang
This is not suede, its nubuck. Those are complete opposites from eachother... suede is the meat side of the cow, nubuck is the outside hide, sanded down.
I would not recommend Ajax bc it’s very coarse and it will end up digging into the suede and leaving gouges. Also it is very strong and it could cause discoloration of the suede
