As a Minnesotan, I can say that legitimately, without the Rocky & Bullwinkle, that actually looked pretty good! Our state's motto is "E'toile du Nord," so simplifying all the little ones into one big one is a really smart move! Either you did your research, or are really good at intuiting it!
I love the new flag, but I’m a bit biased; I had actually designed something very similar years ago, but missed out on submitting it due to not understanding the deadline. I chalk the similarities up to parallel thinking, or the designer seeing my Reddit post (from now 6 years ago), and forgetting he had. Either way, the reverse chevron is wonderful.
This channel is... dare I say, GOLD. You deserve several bags of fan mail and accolades from far and wide. Some money and recognition might be nice, too. I'm off to invest in the best currency I know: word of mouth.
