@@ImJustSomeoneNamedLucas Okay, I did all of that but still nothing spawns. I duplicated my world and went into creative and did /kill @e and it just tells me there’s 0 entities in the area. I cant figure out why the hell it wont work. I tried AFKing 30 blocks above the farm and 30 blocks below but nothing.
hey, your English is good, I'm from Spain, and I understood everything, a native speaker should have no problem, you don't really need to go through the trouble of putting subtitles :) Also very good video, I've had similar problems and I had to go to the wiki, it's nice to see someone explaining the theory here, as well as providing solutions
Hey man! Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad if you have no trouble understanding what I said:). The subtitle is just there to be safe haha, sometimes I don't really talk clearly because English isn't really my first language too😂
if u already built the mobfarm on the surface, u can still go up 100 blocks and camp and come back down since all the cave systems will be in the despawn range and only ur mob grinder will be in the spawn area
because you guys are inside the radius of 24 blocks, meaning when your inside of that radius of spherical shell, mobs will not spawn, so move a bit further and make sure there's no lights inside.
I remade the farm in the middle of the ocean. It works but the rate is not that good. Maybe what can help is by lighting up the sea floor. I made a bigger mob grinder in my SMP with sea floor lit up, it works wonderfully
@@GeneralAlexMC In Bedrock Edition And Any other platform, all hostile mobs spawn rates are extremely low no matter how much you know about the Spawning Algorithm, The mob cap is always gonna be 16, you can expand the mob cap if you extend and seperate the chunks but its still slow
Thank you, I made one in a mountain because I hate the look of them floating, I tried lighting up all the caves nearby but I think I’m just gonna build one in the ocean
Make sure gamemode is not in peaceful, check if there's any hole in your farm, if you're in single player and cheat is activated make sure "doMobSpawn" is set to true
Nice video thanks. I'm curious about why the spiders don't spawn tho. Sure I understand they can't spawn on carpet. But there are 2x2 squares of non carpet. Can't they spawn on that?
Mine has all the criteria listed in the video but i notice only a few mobs are spawning and after the upcoming night ends and its the next day, they no longer spawn. (I'm on bedrock so that may have something to do with it).
@@GeneralAlexMC alright thanks, for anyone else who's on bedrock, I've tried a lot of other artificial mob spawners and those didn't work at all, so I'd recommend just finding an actual mob spawners and using that to farm
@TroubleGTag I'm guessing the mobs don't spawn? Check if you're in peaceful (sometimes we just do that accidentally lol), check if the spawning platform is somehow lit up, lastly make sure that the place you're standing is at least 24 blocks away from the spawning platform. If all checklist is done yet it's still not working, something's gotta be wrong with your world:')
@@GeneralAlexMCthe monster spawn block but I forgot the name It's now hard to find one cause of the new update now I use an dark cube So mob spawn easier
@BS_KiLLeR001 You can put campfire and still get the resources. Lava isn't really recommended because it'd most likely burn the loots. If you want the exp, you need to slay them yourself
@@BS_KiLLeR001 I just finished editing the tutorial video, should be up soon. Since the spawn mechanic is pretty much the same, technically it should work for bedrock too. However, the rate might not be the same edit: sorry for the late response, RU-vid didn't give me notifications for replies somehow😅
@@jasiahhaye8317 I tried making the farm in the ocean the other day, it works but the rate is real bad. However, the mob grinder I made in my SMP works well on top of the ocean. The only difference is that I lit up the ocean floor in my SMP. So, maybe we do need to light up the ocean floor
