A little tip on cutting the water heater hose. Use a band clamp snugged down on the hose. Just tight enough that it doesn't move easily. Align one edge of the band clamp on the cut line of the hose for a guide. Then use a sharp box knife and cut using the band clamp as a guide.

It's amazing how many other channels have evolved from Andrew's channel! Four? Both good & LOL!

Everyone seems to have their own channel, apparently Andrew’s success has grown them like mushrooms in rain.

Andrew needs to put Anderson receptile into his truck’s grill for battery leads, he uses it so often.

Probably wiser to back it up hills next time, so that it's pulling the drum and you have more control, rather than driving it uphill drum-first and having it slide all over the place. That, and having the skidder pulling it for safety. The weight of that machine, the lack of traction and the smooth drum when leading make that a death trap running it up hills of frozen dirt and ice. No ROPS could mean things go bad fast if it starts to slide off one of those mountain hills and flips.

Jumper cables build your own. Go to an electrical supply shop and buy your cable by the foot. They will probably have the heavy duty clips also. The cost is actually cheaper and the cables are far superior.

Great video Dave👍 Really cool when you and Andrew hook up and tackle projects. That was a little bit too much to handle when the chain broke pulling the roller off the edge of the mountain 😅

I'm sure yall know this but with video the angle of descent does not translate really well. Seeing them climb that hill or the machine being pulled uphill doesn't look nearly as bad as it does in person (or in reality). It must be a 2 dimensional thing vs 3d. That is, it's much worse in person...

steel brake lines should be illegal ! Andrew has made that point very clear

He has a D6 he could have pushed it up the hill. It looked like there is somewhat of a push pad on the back of the roller.

I was wondering the whole time how these tires can still hold air. They are driven down to slicks without profile, they are very old and worn out, and they have intense dry rot on them everywhere. Two chains mounted together with the new tires would be very useful, but i think I remember Andrew mentioned that in one of his videos too. Tom 😎

Omg!!!! When that chain broke I screamed like a girl!!! It sounded like a horror movie in my house!! 😂 Then I did it again when the roller started rolling towards the camera. My gf just came running in the room cause she thought I had another girl in the house! 😂😂😂😂

PVC is usually not rated for over 100 deg. May work for a while and blow apart when it's been hot for a while.

I hate when Andrew's machines catch fire for no reason. lol

What is the purpose for moving the roller to the top of the mountain when the road is not in good condition. I would think that waiting for warm weather to come.

i was checking your tubing flaring and yes you used the double flaring kit you got the know how meaning that many people would try a use the single flir kit which works on plumbing but not for brakes and hydraulic lines lol i had to use my computer magnifier to see it because you never showed the flair after doing it

You might consider getting those old tyres chain-wrapped (like the skidder) for use in winter conditions.

its hell working in a cold shop Make your own Jumper Cables a car length & half 4AWG or larger use welding ground clamps red shrink tubing for pos (+)

I always thought the roller was powered but it doesn't look like it. good thing you parked next to the excavator for tire removal, loading onto the truck, etc.
