I finished "Buying an Airplane toilet Truck and making a Skylift of it" from M. Bjoernstroem which has two hours and was thinking waht to do now. BTW really recommend his channel is like AP but more OSHA friendly..
never thought I'd see it run! you are one tenacious hard hard-working dude that doesn't know the meaning of no or can't! congratulations Andris, you deserve a medal and your sister is happy with the milk delivery!
That was some serious fun man. I'm convinced things will get better. The oil thread you mention is actually a oil groove that was invented around the same time when first car engines were mass produced. Very simple but effective way works the best with rope seals. But for us it's very out dated technology. I think the gearbox may need more investigating. Since this is a hydrostatic transmission it might be the brake bands need adjusting. But like yourself it's a full learning curve for me as well. I think the Altai A 4I engine might have the same oil refiners cause they use lot of YAMZ engine components. If I come across the right part, it will be shipped to you in no time. Was a wonderful event seeing the thing make it's first voyage in a long time 😊
@@bradcrossman5068 I was in the role of the stunt and camera man. Not to mention had to figure out why the pump transfer case was leaking. A real learning curve to say the least.
I admire you because despite all the bad news that has come up (leaks, pin plays, etc.), you always stay in a great mood, ready to joke about everything
Super Mom loves cutting grass, I’m glad to see her doing better! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Thanks for sharing brother, you did an awesome job Andris! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🇪🇪🇺🇸🇪🇪🇺🇸🙋🏼✌🏻✌🏻💯💯💯
I was wondering what language he speaks, either Russian or Estonia has their own language. It could also be several other languages like Lithuanian but I too was thinking the same thing.
Considering you've nearly always said you're NOT a mechanic..... Once again, you've managed to do a job that 99.9999999999999% of todays so called mechanics wouldn't have a hope in hell of completing...... Well done fella... Job done and very well documented.... Excellent Video,.... needed to be a long Vid because of the Work involved 👍 ❤👍 Like Joseph..... Big Machine..... Big Job..... Long Video.... that's what we're here for ❤ Thank you 😊 I owned an UAZ 469b in Poland @ 10yrs..... Gearboxes Rebuilt.... Axles Rebuilt.... Bodywork etc.... I know Russian Eqt. V Well..... Built like a Brick SH1T House.... Very Strong Construction... Quality 😢..... but fixable with almost no tools.... ( I know I'm exaggerating 😂😮😅)... . Seriously though... I know Russia eqt. Well.... Excellent Video fella... Keep at it..... Thank You.....
Hey, brother, this is your good friend in Kentucky. I'm gonna tell you what a great movie. That was how informative and how talented you are. Keep up the great work. I watched every single minute of it. You rock.
Thank you thank thank you, i have never enjoyed an youtube channel as much as yours. I did jave plans to do some stuff ... And then i saw an 3hrs + vid, immediately canceled all plans got a cup of coffy and some snacks and a warm blanket, brilliant i have even at times watched some vids twice. Keep safe God bless and thank you for sharing your life and time with us.
My Friday treat. Never need to say sorry for the long video, because we ALL love your many talents and especially you just being a normal everyday dude!
The drive coupler always wears out. All sorts of tractors have similar coupler for 4 wheel drive and trucks have them for differentials etc. Usually the coupler is softer metal then the shaft so you could have some luck reducing the slop with new or at least better condition coupler. What troubles me is that the splines were not straight so that could mean that at some point it got hit pretty hard. However now that the shaft is bent slightly, a used coupler from straight saft could actually now be pretty tight. I am worried that the slop will cause the seal to brake, but it seems to be on easy enough place to redo. I wasn't following what exactly that shaft drives, but if it's the transmission then you should really make sure it is ok. As for the centrifugal oil cleaner, it was definitely wise to end the cracks and take the JB weld out. Of course welding the crack is the best option if you don't have more spare parts, but I doubt that aluminium is decent to weld. There is also a possibility to sort of stitch the crack, but I have my doubts on that as well. You better keep eye on that filter since we will know where the metal goes if it fails. If the centrifugal cleaner won't work out, you could try bypass it since it has another oil filter, but if I remember correctly it was just wire mesh. Modifying it to accept a standard filter is the last option, but would solve many problems.
Another great video for Friday, almost 4 hours enjoyed every minute of it. Glad to see super mom back in action. Andris and family have a nice weekend tell next Friday
Wow, that is quite the project! You are a better man than I. . . Please enjoy this happy positive comment to tickle your algorithm I try not to miss any of your episodes you're always interesting to me and you make me feel complete
Almost 4 hour video of grim determination against all odds. Hats off. Carry on. I despise those single use hose clamps. A simple cam break over requiring a special tool to install and cannot be removed without destroying it.
Hats off to super mom. Glad to see her on the mend and doing well. Also, good work on Joseph. Great video. Better than Camarata and this is coming from a big Camarata fam.
Wow! When you drove that thing out the gate I celebrated by shaving my beard, which I have had for 50 years! That is if trimming a few stray whiskers counts as shaving.😁 Congratulations on a great job and video.
Dude, I really admire you for tackling that job. I would have used C-4 and made it into yard art. Anyway its 100 degrees F here in California so the video was great for a hot afternoon in the house. Good on ya keep on keeping on.
I got to say I stopped everything I was doing (watching grass grow lol) to watch this and it’s flipping awesome that you finally got the Kirovet running and driving!! I was cheering you on when you went on the milk run. Oh as for the little oil leaks those aren’t leaks it’s just showing you you still got oil! Can’t wait to see what you use it for in the future!! Definitely got a huge like on this one love it!!!
Every soviet piece leaks any fluid it can like crazy. Same with BMW by the way. Lathe gearboxes were allways empty because of leaks. It was like Homer Simpson when shaving beard on LSD. Can't wait for the next movie man!
Great video as always Sir! I can't say that I am surprised by what you're finding on the tractor. I think you're probably the FIRST person in a LONG time who actually cares about maintaining stuff. That machine has been run by folks who just "used it", without caring even a little bit.
Best comments this video: Carpet ground cover good enough for a Turkish Tea Party😅 Gasket has been on since Lenin was still alive 😂 Great accomplishments on the big wheels tractor. Happy Supermom is back! Maybe in a future video put a special shock-absorbing seat on the mower.
Ants MAJOR PROPS and impressive that you took on this big ass machine and fixed several issues. Dude you are one hell of a mechanic and the ingenuity and creativity is super damn good. I normally don’t watch anyone with a 3 hr vid but then its Ants so the ANTics are well worth it. Glad to see Supermom out in her element and hope she continues on recovery. You never disappoint! Hope you have a great weekend!!!
One thing for certain, you will learn a lot and you will be very familiar with the machine. A lot of people, including myself wouldn’t even attempt to do that job and would end up paying thousands of dollars to fix it. That is if you could even find someone that would do the job. I’ve noticed your channel is growing, that’s good to see. I can’t believe you opened the sealed barring, bad move. That driveshaft should be fine for the amount of mileage you will put on it. Don’t worry though because if you have to take it out again it won’t be a problem. Congratulations I’m very happy for you, now you can backup to five trees and chain them and pull them up roots and all. You don’t even have to cut them down anymore. Next year you have to enter the mud racing competition, the one we watched a couple of videos ago. Yes, I was gonna say it sounds like an exhaust manifold leek. You have a lot of little things that need fixing, no big deal. Again Congratulations Ant Man, a job well done and I almost forgot the drive shaft is fine. Watching from Panama City Florida, USA. 🇺🇸🦅 !
Nearly 4hrs, still not long enough. 😎 That drive shaft was so much better, mind you if your going to change the main bearing its going to be better. Can't wait until you rewire it, that episode is going to be at least a week. 😂 Lovely seeing Supermum back, really glad she's getting better. 👍
Hello You have a knack for keeping the viewer involved, thank you. this is what I needed when I visited death's gate yesterday. Life goes on and hopefully Ants pants long videos.
