Fixing Window Hinge On Roadtrek Twitter / luckydawg11 Email: 1luckydawgproductions@gmail.com Disney Parks Videos / 1234734019991695 Lucky Dawg Productions / 124183468224921
Thanks for the Video - I will be doing this as well as another issue I have with the window which is the actual bracket arm that attaches to the widow itself, mine has become unattached. The bracket seemed to be attached via a black thick gummy like substance. Someone suggested LockTite to me, but given the actual black gummy stuff already on the window I don't see this as holding well as I believe the intent of that product is to affix the bracket to the actual window itself, not on top of a black gummy looking product. I was hoping you may have a suggestion on this issue as to how to reattach the bracket. Thanks for your time!
I just now saw your comment. Sorry took so long to respond. We no longer have the Roadtrek and unable to help you with this. I hope you found a solution Good luck to you.
Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I don't have any idea about replacements for them. perhaps try checking in some of the Roadtrek groups for suggestions.Good luck.
I actually lost the bottom portion window! I am having the darndest time replacing it because of its slight curve and RT doesn't support its replacement (not even the whole unit!). Any ideas how to solve this problem? No luck with salvage yards, RT, glass places, etc. so far. I will do this to the other side though - thanks!
I lost bottom section as well, very tough to find replacement, one guy told me he ordered a piece of plexiglass, had it cut using a template he made from the good window on the other side, and installed with hinges from the home center - that's my current plan - wish me luck
Actually... I just fixed it by ordering a replacement from DKhardware.com which though it did not fit entirely I was able to swap out the lower window which was all I needed. Cost was about $420
Lucky Dawg Productions-Ok great. Going tape as well drill a hole in window arm with a screw to keep window from falling out . Added security. Wish me luck. Enjoy the channel fellow Roadtreker.
@@kevinfrank8382 It's a long-shot that'll read this, but here's the question: Where exactly did you drill the whole and put in the screw? Was it on the bracket glued to the window -- or the slide with the wheel? Pictures would be great!
