Hello and welcome to my channel! Today I will share my favorite recipe for a winter hike or mountain hike. This is an easily prepared and nutritious meal that gives you the energy and heat you need at a light weight. To enjoy in the winter forest or on the mountain. The recipe is for 15 servings. Recipe, Calories and weights:
1. Cut the cod, half thawed, into thin slices (approx. 2-3mm)
Salt the fish liberally, fish requires a lot of salt.
Cook them in the oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes (it is also fine to fry the fish WITHOUT fat on medium heat. But then not with too much frying surface as the moisture will be prevented from escaping.
Then dry them in a food dryer at 70 degrees for about 8 hours, in an oven for about 12 hours. (If you dry in an oven, put a fork between the door so the moisture can find its way out and use hot air if the oven has that function.
2. Spread a generous dollop of curry paste on a piece of parchment paper.
Then dry in the food dryer or oven until completely dry.
3. Rinse and chop the leeks finely, it is good to further crumble what you are drying when it is dry to shorten the cooking time afterwards.
Then dry it in a food dryer at 50 degrees for about 5 hours, in the oven at the same temperature but double the time.
4. Peel and slice the carrots into approx. 2-3 mm. Bring to a boil and cook the pieces for about 3 minutes for better flavor and color.
Then rinse immediately in cold water to quickly stop the cooking process.
Then dry them in the food dryer at 50 degrees for about 6 hours. In the oven for about 10 hours at the same temperature.
5. Then mix the ingredients divided into 14 bags.
Each bag must have:
Coconut milk powder 1.5 dl (approx. 60 grams)
Cod just over 2 tablespoons (approx. 12.8g)
Carrot About 1 tablespoon (2.66 grams)
Leeks about 1 dl (6 grams)
1 bag crumbled noodles with accessories 100 grams.
Fill a hslvliter pet bottle with rapeseed oil, which you then distribute to all 14 portions during the tour.
A portion weighs 218g/portion and contains 1214kcal and costs approx. SEK 39/portion.
