FJ60 on an FJ80 chassis. Sweet stance and could it be the most drivable classic Land Cruiser ever?

This FJ60 was the recipient of a host of modifications including being placed on a modified FJ80 chassis. It's got the Cummins R2.8 with an 8HP70 8 speed automatic. Full custom leather interior, roll cage, custom bumpers, and more. Plus, WHAT A MESS! JP is going to go crazy if the parts move isn't over soon.

The young man had the best suggestion for parts. Thanks for keeping these valuable parts we will need in the future. Your success might be your biggest liability. I don’t have the money for one of my Cruisers to be restored by you but love your videos. Take care.

Don't reinvent the wheel. Sean is correct in that organizing parts or whatever has been done for ages and there is no crime in looking into what other organizations have done. Just don't leave it up to me 😆Thanks for another great video. Loved the tour of your yard.

The 60/80 is a perfect combo along with R2.8 is a solid choice. Outstanding!!

The white 86? That's our "new" recycling truck. I was driving to work and saw it on a rollback. I called the number on the side of the truck and the driver answered. He was headed to the scrap yard with it! Needed an engine rebuild but that's it. It's sweet. 22RE, 4spd, no PS. Interesting configuration but we love it.

If only I wanted to live in CO, working on Land Cruisers all the time would be great. Anyway, makes me sad to hear about Cruiser parts going to scrap. Saw another post with 55 bodies heading to scrap.😢

I'm starting a new project on my new RU-vid channel "Jose's Garaje" and I'm taking a FJ40 and extending the frame, customizing the body and making a FJ45. I bet the transitioned 40 will drive sweet too.
