I wish the ventilation openings had mesh webbing to keep ticks and other bugs out. KUIU uses this feature on their ventilation openings and it’s really nice.
I saw these in Tiso in Glasgow when I went in to find the Fjallraven trekking tights, which they didn't have. I did balk at the price of the Kebs, ngl, but it still may happen if I decide to choose wisely!
The trekking tights look really, really good, sorry to hear they didn't have them in! The only reason I went with the Keb trousers in the end is I think they just edged it out a little in terms of versatility 😊
The center button hole in the waist is tearing after a few times of usage in urban conditions. Same thing for my friend (she has more mileage on the trousers though). Anyways very disappointed on the durability. They should have extra padding around the center waiste button hole😢
How do you find the position of the knee pad pocket? I find them a little too high even on the long leg so when you kneel down you kneel on the seam or under the pad pocket.
They seem ok to me! However I’ve not used them with the knee pads themselves so I don’t have any real experience to speak of Could you try out different knee pads? Besides Fjallravens (not that you should have to 😂) If that’s doable
Biggest mistake you’ve made was that you didn’t bought gaiter version…it’s just a few pounds xtra but the way you can change them into a shorts and still have protection against the high grass is so good in the warmer days
Thanks for the comment! I am not sure to be honest... But for reference I have the regular version, and I am 5ft 8" and there's plenty of length left for if I were taller 😆. I reckon the longer version would be for people well over 6ft
This accent confused the hell out of me. "Ah, American, no Canadian, eeeeh south African, no....Scottish ! But then there's Welsh and Geordie in there. Finally settled for Scottish, I think :D Thanks for the review.
I bought a pair of Keb trousers, after less than 40 days mountain wear both bottom seams have holes in them. In my opinion, the bottom of the trousers are too heavy for the normal material, not worn crampons with them or done anything apart from normal Trekking. I am in my 50s and have never had a pair of trousers fail so quickly. Sent away 18th December still waiting for any reply from Fjall Raven a month later. So far poor quality for what they are and the price charged. Bad customer service from Fjall Raven

@@sam249344 I wish you good-luck, quality control seems to be a bit poor, from what I’ve seen and read on here the trousers are either practically indestructible or, like your pair, fall apart.
