I saw people saying that Fjord hasn't actually protected Jester like the Ruby asked him to and I was like "that can't be right" so here's a collection of him looking after her ever since, even without powers.
the song Shallow actually fits them so well...... is Fjord going to kill himself if he can't get his powers back since he's afraid to be a liability of the group?!?!
Laura also told him she was gonna make his character fall for her character and if he doesn't he'd have to say no to his wife. She basically threatened him hahaha
This is what happens when your playing with your husband, a strange relationship. The way I see it caduceus is like a dad, jester is like the clumsy little sister, and fjord is the oldest sibling protective and strong. Oh ya and nott is the crazy drunk aunt.
He's given her another kiss while she was conscious (on her forehead) as thanks and walked away. Jester was rightfully stunned and speachless afterwards as you would expect.
@@kuroganekaze would not be able to tell you sorry. Binged 73 episodes over the course of a month so I can't pick out which episode. I know for sure it happened and it's after the Kiss shown in this video.
Well these are the people that valued him for who he is and not just because of what he can do. He spent a lot of his life trying to be somebody else and now he's found a group of people that truly love his real self.
@Christoffer I did end up swapping it for Guardian of Faith but I still have Fly in case my winged Tiefling can race to people with the mobility feat and rogue dashing to catch up to them if they fall. Just swoop down and manage to get the spell on them.
@@joshuafoy9355 I've found that Thunder Step is the best combat evac, as you can jump a downed teammate to safety while still being close enough to deal with the threat. Dimension Door is the best GTFO move, because you can teleport to any location within 500 feet regardless of line of sight, so you can abandon a bad fight, escape from a pursuit, or get deliberately eaten alive to pull an ally out of a creatures' stomach. My Sword Bard packs Misty Step for combat, and Dimension Door for quick escape. Also Scatter, while short range, is incredibly powerful, as that can teleport up to five creatures up to 120 feet, so you can reposition either your allies or your enemies if you find yourself in danger of being outmaneuvered.
i mean thats just not how matt plays things if one of them dies the other can literally go down to hell and pull them back up, hell fjord might fight the traveler to get her back
Their "ship", if it happens, is a slow-burn and most likely going to take place before or during a show in front of a live audience. However I'd really like to see how the emotional dynamic would change if Jester acquires an "admirer" and/or slips off with someone for the night. It's not likely, since that is more of a Beau thing, but it would really shake things up.
Timestamps for the ones I have saved (I'm not OP): MN meets Jester's mom: campaign 2 episode 33 1:51:30 Fjord cuts hand off villain who is holding Jester: episode 38, probably between 0:40:00 and 1:45:00 Fjord gives Jester his oxygen while they're drowning: episode 40 1:26:00 "I can't bail on Jester": episode 45, sometime in the last hour if I had to guess Fjord wants to give Jester the superior healing potion: Episode 59 2:28:00 Fjord jumps out of the free to save a falling Jester: episode 65 3:30:00 "Jester is STILL in its mouth??" live show episode 73 sometime in the first 1.5 hours
You are a blessing for putting all these wonderful videos together I love Travis and Laura, and their characters and it’s so nice to just have smash cuts of their interactions in game
Just getting back into DnD after not having a group when 4e became obsolete. Found the Critical Roll Podcast and started in 2C... I love that this was just clips and not too spoiler inducing. Google podcast has 2C split. So I started with e57 and stopped at 60 once I found 2C 1e. Love love love it. Didnt know they were married irl
I had an idea of during TravelerCon Jester would meet a fellow worshiper of the traveler (sorta of like avantica) and they would flirt with Jester. And Fjord would be to the side watching this looking a little sad, so one of the other PCs would go up to him and ask him why he is so sad. I think that conversation would be great for Fjord to talk about his feelings toward Jester, platonic or romantic.
True. I think the reason why people say that is because he does not protect her like in anime or Asian movies. You know, basically be constantly glued to her, being more a bodyguard than a useful member of the party.
MrSnoozle puff Grod doesn’t have a mental disability, at least as far as I can tell. It’s just that the environment and society he lived in most of his life just wasn’t one that supported intellectual improvement. (Slight spoilers for campaign 1) Grog actually uses one of his later ability score increase options to boost his intelligence to an 8, so it’s not that he’s mentally disabled, it’s just not something he’s used to
