Get yourself a well looked after 1st gen with 3rd gen shock, good rubber and suspension set up and your done! 1st gen 30kg lighter too due to no ABS, 6th gear is a unnescessary addition for way too much money.

early 1300 pans had a weave problem, 1100's never had a problem, considering one of these now, don't know if I fancy the weight though.

It’s a great bike no doubt but you are dead wrong to say that it is easy to manage at slow speeds. Facts is that it tends to tip over as the CG is not low enough.

No 6th gear until 2016. Big price jump with that.

Motorcycles shouldn't have f-in' top boxes anyway. First thing I ditched on mine. Looks just awful, they do.

I keep a full-face helmet in one of my saddlebags and an extra riding jacket in the other. Never know when somebody might need a ride. LOL what's your girlfriend's name again.

The FJR is hardly heavy 😂😂 people who call bikes heavy make me think they dont know how to ride em, and push the bikes instead.
