FKJGP to Persist with Crackdown Until Influx Control Mechanism Established 

Federation of Khasi Jaintia and Garo People (FKJGP) president, Dundee C Khongsit, announced on Monday that the organization has received two notices from the police concerning their ongoing efforts to check the documents of migrant laborers.
Speaking to reporters, Khongsit emphasized that government inaction had forced the FKJGP to undertake this initiative independently.
Khongsit stated that the organization conducts checks in various localities, particularly those suspected of harboring illegal migrants.
Despite the two notices already issued to FKJGP members, Khongsit anticipates more as the group continues its document verification efforts.
