Sometimes things don't go according to plan and I've gotten better at letting my gut feeling speak. My original end of the Swiss Alps route towards Bernina, Umbrailpass and Stelviopass makes way for something completely different due to roadworks and pass closures. I end up in one of the places in Switzerland that I admire most because of the beautiful memories here. I've let this place take hold of me in ways I could never have imagined.
It feels weird to say this is the last episode of this series since it seems SO long ago (sorry about that, I was planning on having it up by the end of 2023...). But luckily I already have new adventures planned.
My ultimate goal for these weeks on the road was to have more time. More time to create, rest when needed and find a good balance between work and travel as while shooting these episodes next to other jobs. As you can imagine it takes up my entire day, which I don't mind at all (!), but to unwind and get back to non-creating days is always such a nice feeling. I will dedicate a blog to this soon.
Where early 2023 was kind of a try-out, 2024 has started off with an 'this is how I'm going to do it!' attitude. I have become better and better at creating a rhythm for myself and these 7 weeks have helped me enormously with figuring that out.
