Very Helpful tip i recently discovered: usually when in piano roll view. if we want to open it's respective generator/plugin. we need to go to the channel rack and then look out for the plugins/generators that has visible midi and select the one we looking for. However, you can open the respective generator/plugin from the piano roll itself. just simply "Right-Click" on the name/plugin written next to Piano roll at the top. in your case. in 3:02 you are at the piano roll view of "Sub". so to open the generator/plugin that is making the "Sub" sound for this piano midi you are in. simply right click at this point 3:02 on the "Sub" and it will open the plugin of it ;) hope it helps ✌🏻

@Reza_Audio

For the clear reverb: the thing I am writing below is even better: 1- Put a Fruity Send Plugin on the last slot of your synth( snare ,...whatever) , 2- Route a mute signal (or right click then sidechain) to a free insert as your send. 3- put your 100% wet reverb on this send. 4- go back to your fruity send plugin and activate this send insert Now you have a completely separated send signal from your original synth. NOW: 5- put a Fruity limiter after the reverb slot and switch it to compression mode, 6- activate your synth as a trigger(sidechain input) change setting to your taste. **** I would recomment making the setting (ratio and threshhold) hard so when your synth hitting on second or third,.... for any notes in any beats your reverb wont involve the information of old signals from previous beats *** In this way you need no automations at all, so you do not need to deal with changing the automations when ever you change your melody

9:36 if you create the automation clip for this and delete it from the playlist then go into the step sequencer, you can just have the a block on the SS hit on the automation clip channel everytime a new chord is played instead of having a big mess of small automation clips on the playlist. Works the same for sidechaining an instrument if you use Fruity Balance. Just make a a quarter bar size automation of the Volume knob in Fruity Balance then delete it from the playlist and have it hit everytime you want it sidechained in the step sequencer and put it in the playlist as a pattern. Makes the projects much cleaner looking
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 2 года назад
Sure... but before you go with automation clips in such cases you should use the fruity envelope generator instead as it does the same, is easier to handle and has in one instance 8 envelopes and LFO´s instead of one...

Hi, when you put automation clip on decay time of reverb the result is much smoother then fruity mute
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 2 года назад
It may work it certain situations but maybe not as here the trick is to empty the reverb buffer... shortening the decay doesn´t delete the buffer and therefore the "tone" in there...

This is awesome! The reverb trick you mentioned causes clicks/pops when the reverb switches on and off. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 2 года назад
Watch the Kshmr video I linked in the description... Because of in the moment when the reverb is muted there is a short burst of the dry signal from the send... you have to do a little volume automation to reduce the incoming dry signal for the same period of time you meted the reverb...
@migats2160
@migats2160 2 года назад
I would not even recommend this tip. Reverb is ment to be a virtual space amulation for your sounds. If you cut the tail, the reverb will not sound very natural and spacious.
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 2 года назад
@@migats2160 Electronic music isn´t meant to sound "natural"... and a deep reverb on the leads is more part of the sound design than putting a sound into a space... All the sidechain pumping in EDM doesn´t sound natural either... so if some cutting of tail helps to gain some "clearness and less general mud... why not... Noone is forced to use it but you can only decide if you know the existing options!

can we freeze a wav on play list to avoid moving them accidentally ??
@nuvisionprinting
@nuvisionprinting 2 года назад
Hey Matias, quick question as I have a weird issue when I try resizing/time stretching audio in the play list. It does it to all any alteration I make. How can I get it to just do it to one? It is only happening in one project.
@flstudiotricks6903
@flstudiotricks6903 2 года назад
If I understand right you have multiple instances of the same audio clip in your playlist but you want to stretch just one of them...is that correct?? If so then just make the one you want to change unique... this should leave the others alone...
@nuvisionprinting

Im sure you will know thsi answer to this question. How do I record audio straight from RU-vid into a mixer track on FL. i dont want to use headphone output into mic input because the recording is sounding very different. Has the recent update removed the ability to select computer audio all going through FL? i used to do something something beofre one selecting inputs/outputs which doesnt seem to work anymore??
@flstudiotricks6903

The only method I am aware of is to use an audio routing tool like Voice Meter Banana or record directly into Audio Editors like Audacity which have this ability...

It depends... fact is that the leaking of previous tones into the next chords can create mud... the longer the reverb tail the more prominent it gets... Often it´s a good idea to use techniques like that to keep the signal clean and clear...
@migats2160
@migats2160 2 года назад
The latest one are not workflow features at all. Cutting out the reverb tails when the next notes hits in is the worst idea I've ever heard of. It doesn't even sound that great.
