Awesome i was looking for this, my one questions is how do you set up the pad assignment with a project on FL Studio? I was able to find the file FL studio and did set it up on the Native Instrument Controller but the template doesn't have the pads assigned to the song that FL Studio has setup when you open the file, i added the template but i don't see the pads light up, i running a maschine mikro don't know if that matters. All in all good video thanks for helping the community out..
Hey man, when i loaded the template and hit the pads, they start at note E9 and go up from there. Do you know how to change it so they start at C5 and go up?
Yea actually im VERY satisfied with the Integration .. the Combination of the Two Powerhouse Software's is very innovative.. and Extremely efficient one you take the time to explore ALL your options with the 2 (cause theirs many workflows) ... if you checkout MaschineMasters you will find My Tutorial Series where explain many of those options from Start to Finish... in addition if you have any other specific questions or need help just ask and ill gladly assist.
Im be trying to figure out Fl studio V.S Maschine. I see fruity loops as a very complex software in terms of what it can do, if you start digging . I don't use stock sounds so im not worried about that . What I want to know is if Maschine more capable than FL. Is it work getting maschine or just get Komplete use them as plugins for FL and call it a day
Well it really depends on the Workflow you prefer. If you are more Hands-On than the Maschine is definitely a Great investment. But in terms of capabilities FL Studio by far is more Features than Maschine as a DAW .. but the core of Maschine obviously, is its Controller .. as you see I prefer the combination of the 2. Maschines Hands-On controller is a great compliment to FL Studio's already astounding abundance of features and easy of use. FL Studio is'nt very complex, at all. . it just looks like it is at first, but once you get a basic idea of what you're looking at .. you'll see its very simple to understand.
are you using Maschine mainly for your drums ? it seems to be overkill that's why I'm trying to figure out a perfect blend of using both to create something better or I'm I better off sticking with FL. I look at the fact that you can get Komplete and load that in Fl, which in turn would eliminate Machine in terms of the controller, correct ? Ive been doing my research and it appears that FL's piano roll is more in dept than Maschines. I know Maschines stock sounds are way different than FL stock sounds by far, That's an easy fix with non stock sounds. I can just get any other midi controller correct ? how is have both not an overkill
James Digitalz I would have to agree.. its somewhat of an overkill, and then again not so much. To get Komplete and use it in FL with another Midi controller ..is Still a Great setup.. In fact depending on your primary needs I would say its the way to go. But if you are looking for a Pad controller, and you intend to use FL as your Main DAW, I would certainly recommend the Maschine. Now if you are suffering from lack of better instrument sounds then yea i would focus on gettin Komplete or something.. but if u have good sounds already and you're looking for a DRUM solution than yes Maschine is the way.
Mr.IIXI I talked to some people in guitar center about maschine i was told that it emulates a few different mpcs. do you know what the differences is between them ? does it emulate the grit and grime as well ? What about plugins that your using with fl studio are you using the one that come with FL or are you using some outside plugins ? what can you recommend ?
James Digitalz The Maschine has MP60 & SP1200 Emulations.. whereas it emulates that grit & saturation of those machines in its sampling modes. As far as the plugins that come with FL yes they are a huge part of my workflow .. Nearly ALL of the FX Plugins I use nearly all the time. The synths AS much.. but thats not because they arent great. FL has alot of great synths that have been around for a long time.. and still to this day are very much Under-Used and Under-Rated.. And there are countless Librarys of Presets that you can find on the net for these VST Synths as well.. Although I heavily use other VSTs these days... I still will pull out a Stock FL vst just to spice things up.. and i nearly always find something new that i hadnt heard much before.. man.. the Autogun vst has like 4 BILLION different Presets in it .. lol .. Toxic Biohazard is one of my alltime favorites.. Poizone, Harmless, Harmor.. man FL has stuff you'd eventually cant do without.
Well if you think about it.. it would just be a 1 time Setup.. hell I'll actually even work on a Template for FL Studio.. that u can put in your FL Studio folder and set it to Startup on that Template .. and it will already have everything mapped out... its actually NOT a long process anyways.. but it can be a one time thing.
my FL studio 11 doesn't recognize my maschine mikro as a midi controller and it's really weird I don't know what to do it works fine as VST though and my Controller Editor also can see my maschine Has anyone had such issue?
Nice video. I was a little disappointed since the whole thing was talking about using maschine in MIDI mode...I was really hoping that they had fixed the bugs so I can use the vst alongside fl11 without it messing up and being able to record in maschine with FL without it being off..I know it sounds retarded but apparently that still dont work.
Im not sure what issues you're having exactly but the MASCHINE VST works with FL Studio 11 just fine.. even recording audio into MASCHINE while in FL .. Im sure you probably just don't have it setup correctly .. if you still need help with this contact me and I'll post on it.
