hi I play mellophone in my high school marching band but this year my color guard instructor/band director have decided to feature me by "killing" me (it's a death show) during the ballot, then turning me to color guard. I have a dance routine then flag routine to learn and you have helped me so much. thank you!
This is such an old comment but this is sooo cool! My school did a show where the band members got possessed by the color guard and did a dance feature with us. I don’t wanna share the show bc it was by far our worse season performance wise lol but a great concept.
I know this is one of your older videos from last year. Sense I had nothing much to do today. I decided to pull out my flag to try the Mizzou toss. at first I was having trouble getting the hang of it. after couple of try's I nail it. thanks from your number one fan.
+SpintronixGuard it's not this exact toss, and the prep is super long and this is like a big chunk of it. And it's just because when you release, your arms are crossed at the clavicle area, hence "Crossy Bones". It was the last flag toss of my guards opener this year, but I was on rifle, so I just learned it for fun!
+SpintronixGuard well thankfully I have that opportunity! I'm not sure if your familiar with Paramount World from Atlanta, but I made their A guard, and it's my first year doing winter guard, and I've learned so many challenging and cool tricks through it! I'm so blessed to be apart of such an amazing guard, and I can't wait to see your guard grow and improve as well!
Tori Franklin That very well could be their original name, but we didn't have a name for them so I just dubbed them the "Mizzou Toss" since I was on the color guard and a student there when I learned it.
