YES WE CAN and MUST pull ourselves by boat straps and put to SHAME to all who have deliberately frustrated our progress for centuries!!! What's holding us is fear and years of self doubts!! Shade all the chains, stand up,move forward with one determination!!!! AFRICA for AFRIKAAAAAAAANS with Almighty God ALLLLLL things are achievable 👍🤝🤝✊✊🙅
Africa is now ready for innovations that will ignite the greatness it rightly deserves. This is a challenge to the new generation of Africans, both at home and in diaspora. We are not a developing continent any longer. We deserve to be a developed continent, where our raw resources will be utilized by us, and not taken away to other continents, towards building the type of greatness only the Africans can make manifest. Africa is of age, we MUST prove our mettle and command the respect long deserved. I pledge myself to this course. Now is the time !
This is a great projects for African, we would surely get there with our level of determination, commitment and focus to accomplish our goals. God bless African, God bless Nigeria.
This all sounds impressive but my first question is why does Africa need 42 years to achieve these goals. I will be 70 by then if I am blessed to see that date. Most of these innovations are already enjoyed by other parts of the world. Surely the timetable should be a bit more ambitious.
What is more important than the date. Is our determination to get up and work 100% everyday to make this dream come through. Who knows. We might be surprise. With this mindset maybe we can reach and surpass that goal by 2040. Or colonize mars and outer space. Moral of story. With hard work, unity and determination the sky is the limit. Anything is possible.
You should pay attention to the actual projects. The regional passports are already transitioning to a continental passport. The AfCTFA has already been passed and implemented. So many others are already nearing completion.
Corruption and selfish Bureaucracy are the only reasons why these would take so long to achieve. There's nothing here that isn't already in existence in other parts of the world or can't be achieved in a few years of we can get rid of those two things.
Great high-level and necessary parts of Africa's agenda that can propel it to success. I hope that the use of African languages, rather than European languages from colonial times, is included on the agenda.
IMO, the African Union through the AfDB and its other banks should be fast-tracking this to happen much sooner. Maybe it's the mortal-me fearing I won't see all of this happening in my lifetime, but I sincerely think this consists mostly of paper-signing and red tape and could be achieved within 20 years
Building an Afican we want requires that men of goodwill, ideas and vision take responsibility in governance. The teeming population of young people in Africa have to wake up and take their destinies in their hands.
But why treat Africa as if it were a single country? It sounds ridiculous. Some of the objectives of the Union do not appeal to any reality in terms of the practical outworking of the seemingly laudable agenda.
