Ο συρόμενος καταστροφέας είναι κατάλληλος για ρυμούλκηση από ATV (γουρούνα) ή UTV (Utility Vehicle) ή ακόμη και από αυτοκίνητο με αργή σχέση μετάδοσης. Προορίζεται γενικώς για οχήματα τα οποία δεν διαθέτουν PTO μιας και είναι αυτόνομος με το δικό του βενζινοκινητήρα. Συνήθης ταχύτητα ρυμούλκησης είναι από 3 ως 6 χ.α.ω. ανάλογα πάντα με το ύψος και την πυκνότητα της βλάστησης. Είναι κατάλληλος για κοπή και άλεση χόρτων και μικρών κλαδιών. Διαθέτει 28 ζεύγη μαχαιριών μεγάλης κοπτικής ικανότητας και υψηλής αντοχής ακόμη και σε πέτρες. Υπάρχει δυνατότητα ρύθμισης του ύψους κοπής με μηχανικό τρόπο (ραντάρ με δεξί-αριστερό σπείρωμα). Σε πολύ πυκνή και υψηλή βλάστηση (πάνω από ένα μέτρο) προτείνεται το πέρασμα μια φορά με τα μαχαίρια ρυθμισμένα ψηλά και ένα δεύτερο πέρασμα με τα μαχαίρια χαμηλά. Τα μαχαίρια στη χαμηλή θέση εφάπτονται με το έδαφος. Χρησιμοποιείται συνήθως για τον καθαρισμό σε καλλιέργειες δέντρων, σε φωτοβολταϊκά πάρκα αλλά και γενικότερα σε εκτάσεις με ανομοιογενή βλάστηση όπου απαιτείται καθαρισμός. Είναι ελληνικής σχεδίασης και κατασκευής στο μηχανουργείο sidiros. Διαθέτει πολύ ενισχυμένο σασί με 5mm λαμαρίνα, αξιόπιστο και οικονομικό βενζινοκινητήρα, εναλλάξιμα μαχαίρια που υπάρχουν στο εμπόριο (αν και φθείρονται πολύ δύσκολα) και παρέχεται εγγύηση καλής λειτουργίας.

The trailer flail mower is suitable for towing by ATV (all terrain vehicle), UTV (Utility Vehicle) or even by a car with a slow trasmission rate. The flail mower is intended mostly for vehicles without PTO since it is autonomous using its own gasoline engine. The usual towing speed is from 3 up to 6 kph depending on the density and height of the flora. The flail mower is suitable for cutting and grinding grass and small twigs. It has 28 pairs of high cutting capability flails, with high durability even against rocks. there is the option of adjusting the cutting height mechanically (with a hitch top link). In very dense and tall vegetation (over 1 meter tall) we recommend going through it once with the flails adjusted high, and a second time with the flails adjusted low. The flails, when adjusted in the lowest position, osculate with the ground. The flail mower is mostly used for cleaning tree plantations and fields with uneven vegetation which requires cutting, such as in photovoltaic parks. The flail mower is designed and manufactured in Greece in our Sidiros workshop. It has a reinforced chassis using a 5mm sheet metal, a reliable and economic gasoline engine, interchangable flails widely available (although not so easily worn out) and a warranty.
