Each chord implies many potential scales with which to explore your own melodies.Miles chose these 5 chords, no melody, then cut his whole band loose knowing only the chords. But, it was arguably the greatest quintet in jazz history, and MD knew they could jump off the cliff fearlessly if he asked them to.Chris's tone is beautiful with electronic help.But, his solo is derivation,no imagination.He knows it.Kudos to him for acknowledging the Master.
