Today we're back at the 2019 Las Vegas Warbirds and Classics Scale event and we are witness to an absolutely INCREDIBLE save by veteran and world renowned pilot Brian O'Meara when his gorgeous giant scale Grumman F9F Cougar experiences what jet pilots dread: a flameout! Watch as he sets the jet down LITERALLY as the landing gear makes it last movement into down and locked!

Flame out?? I thought it was a spy plane in "sleep" mode!! I'm glad the cat landed on its feet. Beautiful plane. That wing type is one of my favorites. Cougar, Panther, 110Vamp, 112Venom. Good stuff, John. AirHammer out!!

Thanks my brother! Yeah, it did it's last lap in pure "stealth" mode for sure! I still can't believe the gear came down at the last second....simply amazing!
