Great video as always! Just a couple of rules notes for the future. Infantry and gun teams begin the game Dug In, so there was no need to roll for the 88s the first turn. Which is good, because you cannot dig in and shoot the same turn. Also when the priests attempted to range in using the grasshopper as a spotter an failed, that counts as their 3 range in attempts. They are not able to then attempt to self spot. Since the mortar in the rifle platoon is just one “gun” firing in that bombardment, you should reroll all successful hits. I’m not 100% sure, but I think the rockets special rule on the Thunderbolts says that it goes against side armor. Bazooka skirts on the Panzer IV would also apply to the “rear” shots from those bazookas since in the game Side and Rear are the same thing.

By the way, playing with your son is a great way to bond. I still play against mine and he is now in his thirties.

Good game just another couple of rule notes the M10s have no HE rule so should have been one higher to hit the 88 teams. Also the blitz order is for the unit not per team so one dice rolled for all teams in the unit not one per team,

you do not need to make cross checks on fences, but do if its a stonewall or a hedge

Do you use any extra diffused lighting when you film your batreps or just the regular light in your room? going to try to film my first batrep at the end of this month. btw. those panzers look REALLY good. Nice job with the painting.

Hi, before anything else I must say I find these reports engaging, rules knowledge not withstanding. Best way to learn is to play. The first question I have, and I'm willing to be corrected here, is with regards to shooting through tall terrain. My understanding from the rule book is that if something is in tall terrain 5cm or deeper from the terrain edge, then it is concealed unless the shooter and target are within 15cm of each other. In the games I have watched you have shot through tall terrain, usually woods with only a targeting penalty where as I believe that anything deep in the wood or on the far side would not qualify for line of sight.
