🤭😂😂😂 I literally do the same thing lol.. its amazing how good 2minute noodles taste when I eat that while watching all these videos from Mark and Ying 👌🏼🤭❤❤❤
Mark and Ying, Bangkok is beautiful. Love the modes of transportation :) I enjoy that you are early morning people. The wood apple is very interesting and something I would try. Thanks for sharing all that wonderful food. Take care. :)
You make me hungry all the times when I watch your videos! That Bowl of Thai Beef Soup looked so delicious. Thank you for sharing those amazing foods and for all your videos. Keep it up and good luck!
I love to see you happy face when you eat my dear.. You make the food look sooo delicious .. Watching you gave me the need to try all sort of food.. Thanks for your beautiful videos👍 👍 You got a great way to enjoy and respect every culture... This is a great example for all of us 👏👏👍
I'm always waiting for your next video! Thank you for doing what you do! I know there must be a lot of background work put into the videos that we don't see. Carrying the camera around, having people watch u record urself LOL! Lots of footage to go through, editing, and more! We just get to see the final product. Thank you! I def enjoy watching all your videos and look forward to new ones. Would you consider doing a Q&A or "get to know me" type video? It would be awesome for all your subscribers to get to know you and Ying on a more personal level! Thanks again for all ur work!
imagine if most youtubers were this positive and didnt seem like entertainment junkies or trolls. This guy was just all positive and good while advertising for a international business. The food and video was so good I got hungry and went to my local thai restaurant.👍
I want you to know , every bad comment I see I put thumbs down on them , you all are beautiful people , the world is filled with so much ignorant people , we have to ignore , because right now your an inspiration to all , keep up good work and yes I eat after watching you lol , come on you make our day , thank you and God Bless forever 😋😋👍🏻
Mark I love your long vlogs, they are not just informational. They make me drool as well :) keep up the good work man. Your efforts are really paying off!
How did you meet your wife mark? You two need to do like an introduction on each other. Would be awesome! I’m Mexican American and my husband is Pakistani and I live for the diversity him and I have!
Great videos as always. I've been living in Bangkok for one year and I feel that you are are living in a total different city when I watch your videos. I need to get my farang ass off Sukhumvit areas. Keep the good uploads coming

Please i wait for your vlog at exactly 09.00 pm to be uploaded everyday that's how adicted i am to your video! Good job mark! I wish you always a good luck!
Filming even while biking, Mark?! Please do share some insights on the equipment you're using - both sound (audio) and video quality is par excellence across this entire series!
Yum! That flaming beef soup contains all the things I love: tripe, blood, tendons. Thank you for sharing. By the way, the Hmong have adopted Thai/Lao words. It's so nice to hear you say "mapow" (coconut), "manow" (lime), "pai" (go). Love you guys!
I just started watching your videos and I love them ! I don't know how you stay thin eating all that food , LOL...but I think your so sweet and love to see you with your wife and baby....look forward to seeing more of your videos. All those people who criticize you are not nice people, they don't have to look at your videos! So much negativity is just sad 😟 I love the faces you make ❤❤❤
Not specific to this video, but I've been wondering, Mark: Is it difficult to get used to Mopeds and Scooters driving through markets in Bangkok? Did it take much time to become adept at holding a camera and dodging drivers? Another great vid!
Very good to see you both enjoy your ride and enjoy your foods thank you for your lovely video is very good I,v learn alots from your travels Difference kind of fruits and other kind of foods very interesting.
+Sarah Ko You are right, please allow me to note one thing that the Vietnamese restaurant where they went was a kind of 'HIP' style. It is not typical ones as available in country. The price is so expensive. Typically, the price does not exceed one or two dollars. Since Thais base themselves mainly on rice dishes. Bread is slightly expensive due to lower-consumption quantity.
Their food is only meat, fish, chicken and beef. The only vegetable are salad leaves and cucumber. They don't seem to use carrots, cauliflower, potatoes, beans, okra,or egg plants
The crunch of that sandwich sounded amazing. I would love to try it! I also want to try a hot pot. I think that is on the top of my foods I want to try list. Great video, as usual! Loving that they are nice and long!! Keep 'em coming! Can't wait for the next ones! And, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family, Mark! Can't wait to see what you have in store for the upcoming year!
Love everything you do!!! You are my alter ego for adventurous food tasting! I could never eat lots of what you do so I live vicariously through you. You're the best!
That was quite a Food adventure today...I never seen you eat so much on this Day ,what a pleasure watching..I love it..The last Dessert with Ice is what we call in the Phillippines Halo halo...kind similar.
Hmm... Is that how the fruit in 4:14 looks like? I am assuming it may taste good but may smell weird. I will always support you for food education. Lastly, I would gladly ask if you visit Texas in the future and make vlogs about it. :)
@9'20" and 10'34": You're putting boiling food in your mouth! And it's full of chillis! Let it cool down - we'll all wait for you! Truly, Mark, I worry for your mouth/throat/stomach/intestines! You alternately boil, bake and barbeque them all! How do you survive this?! I know one's palate gets accustomed - I remember after a couple of weeks in Thailand (from England) one feels the chilli pain less and you can eat a greater range of foods without crying all the time(!)... and returning to London to find absolutely every food tasted bland! But YOU eat on a different level of endurance! And make it fantastic viewing for the rest of us! @ 24'37" Ying's dessert. You're eating your wife's desert, you uncaring man! And Ying's doing the video? She's exhausted! You're exhausted! The two of you work so hard to give us - scattered around the entire rest of the world - such pleasure in vicariously enjoying the food, the atmosphere and the experience, with you. I wish you both (and Micah, of course!) every success, and happiness!
Much respect for making the effort of learning and speaking the Thai language so well, Mark. Most farang dont even try. Best wishes to you in your adventures in LOS =)
I would give my left arm to have a market like that around me. Fruits and veggies are hard to come by. And very very expensive! 1lb of grapes is $3.99, a dozen apples $3.99-$5.00, star fruit which is about as exotic as it is gets around here is $2 per fruit! And they are never fresh. Our farmers market is limited and more expensive than the stores! I would love to drive or walk to a huge fresh market everyday to make a fresh meal or snack! But noooo America has to get theirs! 😡 Maybe i'll consider moving there lol! Much cheaper and beautiful!
Fun fact: Elephants love the woodapple fruit, called 'dimbul' (pronounced 'dimbool'). They will sometimes swallow them whole. Biological studies have shown They defacate the fruit, shell unbroken, but empty inside. the stem joint will be dissolved along with the contents of the fruit by the stomach acids. I've come across a few doing nature hikes in Sri Lanka, where there's a massive but fast dwindling elephant population.
Thai has 3 type morning glory 1. Chinese morning glory always use in chinese stir fry menu like pad pak boong or a hot pot and this hot pot in this video too 2. Water morning glory always use in thai authentic soup and pad like gang tepo or pork belly with curry paste and guay tiew that is a thai noodle 3. Ground morning glory always use as pak nam (fresh vegetable sidedish) it can be found in Thai north eastern food when you order somtum or laab
Oh, I wanna be there soooo much! I have to ask God to help me be able to travel soon. He is the best always! God bless you and your family! Keep the good faith and thank you for all the delicious videos!
Wonderful video, I wish there was SMELL-O-VISION but you do a terrific job describing the smells and flavors! Have to laugh, one of the repeated commercials on your videos is for New York garlic toast. :-)
Nice video Mark, but I have some practical question. If you have so much intake of those good foodstuff, you must came to the point, when the body need some relieve!:-) How is it with avaliability of public toilets in Bangkok, plse?
Mark, enjoyed watching the video with Ying, Dwight and what appears to be his girlfriend/wife. Watching your videos always makes me think of food and attempting to cook something new from Asia. Would like to see more of your how to cook videos, was inspired by your salt crusted fish and barb. chicken recipe
nice vids BUT but what would make you brilliant are vids about foods that are humanly correct you do realize that eaten buying and promoting Prawns from Thailand also promotes human slavery ... not so tasty anymore... huh brilliance is lacking in these times and world be MORE brillant

Oh wow. There was a Black guy on the show... for 10 seconds. Almost seemed like he wasnt even. Kinda like he was just some random guy that came over to your table and you were trying to ignore. Definitely didnt get the introduction that your other guests get. Nice.
I'm from Dublin the republic of Ireland I love love your food videos I just don't like d faces you make when u like something please try some normal face movement otherwise brilliant videos
Yeah, that is Mark's signature smile and face. Of course, food brings smile and arouses the taste buds to the fullest. In my culture, a person's face and smile speak volumes of one's persona. Definitely, I love watching Mark tasting Africa's best cuisine, especially from East Africa.
Hay, I have just watched this. I was making eggplant French fries 40 years ago. My kids would try a vegetable if I could disguise it. Lots of things looked French fryish
Wow, everything it looks delicious, i can't wait to visit Bangkok Thailand, and hopefully my husband and i we see you there Mark Wiens. And more power to your blog......

Okay 5th video and now I can't watch you anymore.. That thing you do with your head where you tilt it to the side and smile, whenever you taste something.. The anger just starts boiling inside me, like when I watch people eat pizza slices without folding them.
eat the seeds from wood apple might get you constipated..ha ha ha... just chew it lightly and spit the seeds out (same go with the tamarind). I like to scrape the fruit meat near the wooden shell. Taste really good. I stripped it clean!!! I got to visit Thailand soon!!!!! good job, Mark.
