Stayed at Flamingo many times on solo and girlfriend trips and mostly love it when it’s performing well. Great location and kind on the budget. Def great when you can get a comped room! To me - it tends to be popular with a younger-than-me crowd who bring their party attitude with them. Pool can be loud…lots of noise sometimes in the hallways…that weed/vape smell is pervasive a lot of the time, despite the No Smoking rule. This is NOT The Four Seasons! A serviceable hotel…and I also like Horeshoe for its convenience and its refreshed interior. Crossed fingers for a fun and uneventful trip come December!!💕
Coffee is available but expensive! 6 dollars at most places. Some people bring their own coffee machines. If you are going to be gambling you can get comp coffee while you play. I personally enjoy getting coffee at the linq promade and sit at a outside cafe like favorite French bistro. The coffee is prob still 6 dollars but at least you can soak in the cool atmosphere while doing so!
I love that you explained everything very well. I’ll be there in a few weeks. Are there only resort fees or are there other fees too? Online says resort fees plus an additional $50 a night incase of accidents?
Watching this tour felt like taking a mini-vacation to Flamingo! The vibrant energy of the resort is contagious, and I can’t wait to experience it in person. Have any of you tried the dining options here? I’m curious to know which restaurant is a must-try for a taste of Vegas indulgence!
It’s a tough one because people either seem to love it or hate it. I think it’s great! Can’t beat the location you are in the center of everything there. Thanks for hanging with me !
You always do a great presentation with your videos. I love the Flamingo. I prefer it. I've stayed there on my last six jaunts to Vegas. It's got its pros and cons as all the properties do.
Flamingo is my go to Place I usually go 2 to 3 tmes a year. Flamingo may not the most glamours place to.stay but it sure has everything you could ask for at a place in Vegas
did you fly from BDL? I think JetBlue has a nonstop to Vegas. I booked a GO room and some reviews have scared me a little lmfao but I'm generally not too picky if there's a couple of small stains on the carpet or if the furniture is old and worn out.
We loved the Go rooms! Yea they aren’t perfect but you can find flaws in most rooms. Yes, we flew straight from Bradley with breeze! Great rates too. No TVs tho or internet
It’s wonderful to find ANY room in Vegas that has a clean white + accent color decor. I am totally sick of all that beige, beige, BEIGE in the older rooms that haven’t been refurbished - or perhaps never will be - even in high end resorts like Venetian, Bellagio and Caesars. Very excited and want to try the totally refurbished rooms at the old Bally’s Jubilee tower, which is now the Versailles tower at Paris. Fresh…new..crisp…can’t wait!!💕
Oh that’s cool! I didn’t know that. Has it opened yet? I agree even Newley remodeled rooms are all grey. No color 😞 love how electric and glam the flamingo go rooms are
@@JenniferSparksSavoy I think everything is open in the Versailles towers except the two bed strip view rooms which will be coming online in late October, if the sun shines and the creek don’t rise!
Ok I just booked for my first vacation in over 20 years that I bought all buy myself and I don't want any surprises, so when I called to asked if there were any extra fees I couldn't understand the guy!!! He said 50.00? But isn't there another extra charge?
Wow! That keeps going up! It was 42 I believe when I was there. It’s a resort fee they tack on top of the price if the room. All of Las Vegas resorts are doing it. It’s for the pools, internet etc..there is also a mandatory hold on your credit card that you get back at the end of your stay.
@@JenniferSparksSavoy ..hi! I don’t think it has ice cream in it…the have as actual machine behind the bar that dispenses it…I’m a pretty cheap date and it sure tastes like it’s only just frozen Baileys. I’d also suggest bringing a cup cookie cuz man…that cup is C.O.L.D. when you hold it for a while!!
Sadly I think it’s closed right now. I’m at Paris and they said all Caesar’s owned resorts pools are closed for the winter 🙁 Paris opens in again in spring.
Jennifer did I see a Wayne Newton billboard???? does he still perform...Wonderful job as always ...Love the pool, the last time I was there has to be 15 to 20 years ago and around the pools they had hot tubs. The place looks clean and upbeat as you mention.
Stayed there in 2018 with my husband. We went to the pool party because “Pittbull” was performing. It was PACKED. This was in the summer months, there was zero seats or room in general. So we opted to rent a large lounge bed thing. I think my hubby paid around $300 for the lounger itself. Then you had to spend a certain amount of money on food and drinks from your waitress. Would we do it again? Nope. I mean we were in our 30s , know how to “ get it in “, but it was really gross. There was random people laying on the cement around us hammered. We actually gave our lounger to some 20 something college kid when we left (about an hour later) as he was found passed out in the shrub/tree area behind us. 😂 Vegas Baby! Also watch yourself as a single man. I left my husband at a slot machine by the elevators to use the restroom. When I returned all I heard was “ You need to seriously get lost before my wife kill’s you!” I found an obese prostitute trying to get him to take her upstairs. He was right and she scurried. This was around 2-3am. But IT HAPPENS and from what security told us, they are known to drug and then rob the men after they get you in the room. The guard we were chatting with actually had to cut us off and walked away quickly as he said “I gotta hurry up and save this guy his dignity and bank account!” He went over to a “lady” and older man heading to the elevator bank. Long story short. Budget hotel stay, expensive food, clean rooms, great location, dodge the hookers! 🎉
Just booked the flamingo for me and my girl during the week in June. Originally booked the Sahara but the location can’t be beat for the price I feel after searching for days
Kids in Vegas is indeed controversial. It's not for kids. It's not a family vacation destination. With thousands of other options it puzzles me. Why bring kids?? And strollers??? NO.
I prob would have brought my kids here if I was a local just for the pools alone but to fly them here from the east coast. I brought them to Disney instead! 🙂
A shadow of its former self. No action, little interest. They took out SO MANY machines and now, much like many other casinos, there is so much floor space which is NOT MAKING money. I can only guess they dont want to pay for slot machine upkeep, maintenance, leasing, electric, etc. So sad to see. First noticed across the street at Caesars on my last visit prior to Covid. So lets jack up the resort fees and charge for parking. Makes sense to no one.
Imagine if they demolished flamingo and casino royale and put the fountainblu there instead? Flamingo and casino royale deserve to be by circus circus and stratosphere
While I loved the content/information of your video, I must say I found it really difficult to hear you over all the filler music added. Perhaps consider going without it while you’re speaking? Folks with hearing deficits and no availability to lip read will miss out on so much. ❤️🙏🏻❤️
