I've just seen a few videos... But, I am already impressed how you show what music really might be got from every certain setting. Smart job!.. Without any word. Thx.
Lovely display of the effect as usual. This company just has some awesome multi effects for such a deal. I bought one of the Ekoverb pedals, and it sounds excellent. It has all the sound and function of pedals I spent at least twice as much on. These multi effect pedals just sound like a step up from the usual under $100 subjects.
Todos los efectos ordenados del 1 al 11 y por momento de ejecución: 2:47 CHORUS (1) 4:20 FLANGER (2) 5:26 TREMOLO (3) 7:01 PHASE (4) 7:59 VIBRATO (5) 9:24 ROTARY (6) 10:44 LIQUID (7) 12:23 AUTO WAH (8) 13:29 STUTTER (9) 14:18 RING (10) 16:10 LOW BIT (11)
Your playing makes this thing sound like the best pedal ever for the money. Great job! I picked one up but am still trying to figure it out cause there is so much you can do with it.
These pedals sound great, they are very versatile and they're amazingly cheap! And they're clever. This pedal, like all of their pedals in this serie, has 7 presets to store. I can think of 4 sounds that I would frequently use and I can think of three sounds that I really need for one particular song in the set, but I never bothered to buy three different pedals for just one song, let alone the real estate on the board. I know there are other options and probably better, but not for this price. And it doesn't sound bad at all. It's almost too good to be true. I feel like I'm trying to sell them, but I'm genuinely excited.
Only bummer for live use is you wouldn't be able to cycle through the presets with the footswitch. And I'm too old to spend half the night bending down to change presets manually...
I actually talked to someone at Flamma and told them that same thing! cause otherwise you gotta be barefoot and pretty damn precise, use only one setting, or put your pedal up on a stand to utilize it. (especially if you're a big fat guitar player).
Thank you soo much! Great playing! Just last sound was kinda noisy. Anyway. It sounds just like the endless fan and discovery. Best wishes! P.S. I ordered this pedal. For fun and discovery.
It's a decent pedal but there are far better modulation pedals, imo. It's seems enticing for $75, but honestly I find a lot of the effects kinda weak. The chorus is especially lacking to me, which is my favorite type of modulation so I was really picky about it. Like yeah you can hear it kinda working but it's not nearly as lush as a Boss Chorus for example. The only good or interesting effects to me are the Tremolo, Vibrato, Stutter and I guess Low-Bit is kinda cool for whacky style Tera Melos type stuff, but why get a budget pedal that will leave you wanting more in like a week? Just my opinion. Flamma's other pedals are absolute bargain gems though, especially the FS22 Ekoverb, FS02 Reverb, FS03 Delay. Can't recommend those enough.
Would be nice if the stereo outs could be DI’ed right into the board. A separate TS out still goes to the guitar amp for when you’re not going into a PA.
Already have this... just came 4 Mike jams! Ur demos, covers are simply awesome bro! Was wondering what you use as a drum machine, looper 4 ur demos?... the drum tracks you program are always funky as hell!!
Sounds Amazing! at its shutdown, you create a signal queue carried out? or you lose suddenly? It is an option on the Flamma Ekoverb, I was wondering if this pedal also had the same option.. fantastic for live! thanks!
Nice run through, Mike. You are one of the few people who know how to tune/use a ring mod😉. They can be quite musical. This is my 3rd Flamma pedal - I’m liking their products, for their value vs quality👍. The single issue I’ve run into is that they need an isolated power supply in some cases with other pedals.
@Mike Hermans - I got the FS05 for Christmas, and finally have had some time to start putting together patches. Is it just me, or is there a noticeable drop below unity gain when the pedal is engaged, especially in chorus mode? I can't un-hear it now and I am thinking of sending the pedal back. I wonder if just my unit has the issue? Might there be an internal pot to adjust the amount of output gain when engaged? I really want to like this pedal but, since I will be using this post-preamp in the effects loop of my combo, or after the preamp pedal in my pedalboard before my stereo amplification setup to my EVM-12L 1x12 Thiele ported cabs, the drop in volume is very noticeable, especially when the preamp sound is a clean fender twin tone. overall volume across the frequency range drops, and bass drops even more, and that includes when the MIX tweak control in chorus mode is set all the way to dry. Love your demos, I agree with @Scott Hanson you make me want to buy everything you demo :) (And the other pedals I have bought from your demos have all been complete winners)
Awesome, as always! I notice your Gibson has one of those thingamabobbits on the headstock to facilitate straight string pull?!? What are those called?
Way too different. This is separate effects (they all sound great) - super inexpensive Albie is like mini pedalboards for each setting. Really cool tones. You can’t tweak except for mix. Awesome pedal
Thanks, Mike! Do you know if there are compatible switch controllers to pair up with this? That would make it easier to switch patches easier on live gigs.
I've read some online reviews and people say that the pedal can only work in preset mode. That means if you tweak the knobs and turn it off, then try to turn it on again, it won't be WYSIWYG but the first saved preset until you move the knobs again. Which is kind of a deal breaker. Is there any workaround?
My opinion: The Mobius can be a PITA. I feel like I have to re-learn it every time I get it out. Lots of fun distractions that I'll never use. Mine went on eBay. This is in the mail.
Brilliant! Just one question..if you have a preset and switch the pedal off..if you turn on again It remembers the same pedal? I mean, otherwise It is not usable for live performances? On/off with tremolo setting 4 for example?
That riff at 2:46 convinced me that I have to get this little box (even though my playing is nowhere near as good as this guy's). Also, what a GREAT player - for most of us even if we have the best guitar and all the effects in the world (which we probably won't anyway) we can't make it sound half as good as you do.
