A day to remember with first a notable flash flood event driving home on Route 9, then the main show with a long-track nocturnal MCS arriving at night with several SIG wind reports, including 77 MPH at Bradley Intl. Airport! Several brief tornadoes were also observed one county to my south at about the time of recording. Winds in my area reached up to 45 MPH, however much stronger wind was on the table as I was in a severe thunderstorm warning, and on the edge of a 70 MPH severe tag.
