Small fingers = less pulley strain on small holds, lower body mass, more flexibility I wish I started when I was young... I started when everything already ached 😔

My favorite part of this video is the complaints about the shorts. Never heard Louis whinge about anything, not a hold or sequence or conditions as much as slightly too big and slightly too orange shorts he was allowed to borrow.

Got those egg shapes at reading parthian and they're so polished it's worse than duel texture holds, but on fresh ones they're okay and I like them. So I guess it depends on how new they are lol

Love a flash the set video, doubly so when it's filmed at Hang. You should check out the Oakwood Centre in Bracknell, they have a pretty decent sized comp wall there, and just generally really nice, varied bouldering.

Overall I like the egg holds since they match the shape of my hands pretty well and feel really comfortable to hold, however, there is 1 or 2 versions of the egg hold that are horrendously bad and slopey and have caused me many a graze after a dry fire

You're absolutely an incredible climber! I do have to ask do you run into many routes that turn into long term projects? at this point you look so graceful on any route I'm not sure if there's a wall that you can't climb 😂

The yellow egg holds are the holds my gym uses for very hard boulders (for me) so i am always in a fight with them lol.

Those eggy holds are used in the 5c/6a circuit at my gym. I don't hate them

Funny, in my gym they are used in the 6B/C circuit, so I think of them as bad holds. Kind of shows you that it's not just the holds that make a climb hard...

Are there any tips about climbing V5-V6’s easier, or maybe getting better at climbing them. Ive been doing fine progressing, there are usually a select few that i can climb. For most of them i just look them over and go “I dont have the strength to climb that”.

You should do flash the set at red spider, it’s close to Parthian and I think a wayyy better comp wall with 35 blocks and it’s being reset this Thursday
