Hello Miku side of the internet, im looking for advice. Me and my may be going to one of Miku’s EXPO shows in 2024, and as I have never been to a concert before, let alone a Miku concert I’m wondering if any of you have advice to share? Should we get there super early? Are there certain customs or mannerisms? And also, where can we get the glow sticks that everyone has 😆?
The merch usually gets sold online closer to when the concert is gonna start (so probably at the start of next year), I’m not sure about the other things (because Miku Expo 2024 will be my first one too if I manage to get tickets lol) but I’ll pin your comment so other people can see!!
Im also going for the first time to 2024 EXPO too! I hear you should get there very early because they will sell lightsticks at the convention itself, but make sure to check online as well
@@endorphin1749wowoka is a vocaloid producer who sadly passed away in I think 2019. Some of his popular songs are, Rolling girl, Unknown Mother Goose, And Two sided love.
I know everyone has different taste in music but I can't believe you give 2019 so low. It's the year when they did wowaka tribute! That's like the very first producer tribute we've ever had in a concert!
2015 has the biggest hype moment with Rins "Lost ones weeping". I know it's the animation from the game, but her smashing the guitar and simply having a mental episode, fits to the song and hypes the crowd up.
I loved Magical Mirai 2021, I don't understand why everyone hated it. I loved Kaito's section, I loved the huge screen with the special effects they occasionally put up, the theme song by Cosmo was a banger AND they played Parades by Whoo, one of my favorite underrated producers. 2015 was good, but it desperatly lacked new outfits. They were in their original outfits for pretty much the entire concert
I wanna do a rating of every single Miku concert to specify my stance and reasons in this rating, but; 2013 - **10/10, Best Magical Mirai ever** 2014 - 4/10, it was definitely a magical mirai concert 2015 - 7/10, improvement of the concepts 2014 brought 2016 - 8/10, Loved the song selection, the arranging was subpar for a few songs though 2017 - 4.5/10, for Miku's birthday I wanted a different kind of setlist than what was presented 2018 - 8/10, introduction of Unknown Mother Goose into the setlist and a fantastic verity of songs, bringing back some classics 2019 - 8.5/10, same stage as 2018, pretty cool rock songs, also went back to 2013 style arrangements for a few songs 2020 - 10/10, loved every performance, band went insane on every song. It's tied as my favorite Magical Mirai with 2013. Every band arrangement is top tier 2021 - 7.5/10, it was pretty cool and had lots of highlights 2022 - 9/10, pretty much exactly what I wanted to get from a 10th anniversary of this concert series that I love so dear (just my opinion tho, every concert clearly has a lot of love and effort put into it by all involved)
And now, for the moment you've all heen waiting for... ONE. TWO.. THREE... miku ,MIKU BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE keep going! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEÈEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAÆÆÆÆÆÆAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!
The 10th Anniversary of Magical Mirai in 2022 last year was pretty good imo its a great tributary concert for the past 10 years, its even got classics like Hajimete No Oto and Miku Miku Ni Shite Ageru as well as Miku's first ever song for her 15th Anniversary (Hoshi No Kakera), and the main theme song Future Eve by SasakureUk is such a banger very fitting for Mirai's 10th and Miku's 15th Anniversary
@@GinIbushiKinnie ayyy. Btw, I only noticed this now because of this video but, did the channel that posted most/all of them get deleted? They had a pretty specific pfp(white background, dark silhouette in the middle) and I can't find them anywhere...
tbh i quite like that the tuning was different for patchwork in 2017, it gives a more realistic feel because people tend to sound/sing differently live than in original recordings. feeling nervous on stage and its location are huge factors of this. i understand your disappointment tho toa's tuning in the original is really really nice, like it really fits the song
i think 2018 can be rated a bit higher because the wowaka tribure (rip he will be missed 😢) but maretu bias is REAL and will solo every other song it plays with.
I meant I really like brain revolution girl so I put 999999/10 because it’s one of my favorite songs and I hated every other song lol and realistically the rating would be 1/10 because the only good song was brain revolution girl
Chill the new ones aren’t that bad 😭 People gotta understand that they’re not going to keep playing the same old songs, they’re going to be updating the setlist to fit what’s coming out now. The older ones are good, yes, but they have to keep up with the current fans and songs too
Well it probably is gonna be good, to me Vocaloid concerts are always good and fun! I was just rating the songs that appeared in each concert and like all things it’s just personal preference that makes it good, cause I don’t really listen to most of the songs and producers in the newer concerts!
Me as an og undertale fan when the first one sounds like Inks theme kinda: (I think? Havent been into undertale/hyper fixated on it for a while but IK it sounds like one of the songs from it)
If I’m honest, any concert where Kaito and Meiko sing is an automatic 100/10 for me. ❤️💙 Edit: Also big agree on them not keeping the original tuning for Patchwork Stoccato. 😭
I actually kinda forgot about kaito’s existence until I rewatched some of the concerts and realized how much of a bop his songs are lol, him and meiko are so underrated
@@GinIbushiKinnie It really does feel like Crypton doesn’t care about them, doesn’t it. 🥲 I’m glad that Project Sekai’s been getting them more fans, though! Maybe Crypton will start caring more about them, with their new found popularity. (MAYBE. Lol)
@@murakamiyoko681The songs are chosen by view count and votes. It's not 'crypton doesn't care' it's the fanbase doesn't seem to. Miku Expo tends to be the biggest hits or recent / commissioned / voted songs, , while Mirai tends to do 'classics'. And there's just not a lot of 'classic' kaito and meiko hits they can do before they start repeating.
I love Vocaloids (kinda obvious no? my pfp lol) and for the past 2 years I have not gone to nor watched any of the live concerts. Just coming across this video just made me feel happy inside. I have now bought front row tickets to the next live show, I may go broke but its worth it
The lack of singing/cheering because of covid really dampened the energy of recent concerts. If I was there when they played GimmeXGimme I would have been FERAL.
My personal favorites are 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2019 imo 😅. 2023 was good because Hero’s module slays so fucking much but I couldn’t recognize 60% of the songs
Maretu has such good songs please 😭😭 I’d personally say you seem to be rating them based on nostalgia, which I understand, but it’s pretty weird from the eyes of us newer fans.
2013, for me. The band really made good effort on rearranging the setlist. It gave Magical Mirai its identity on those songs and its 🔥 The later ones are hit or miss. A lot just feels like playing the original songs on reverb. I'd love to see more effort on Band Member introduction as well. Smth like Mikupa 2013. 👌 - Sweet Devil - Doubutsu Uranai (animal divination) - Cat Food - Last Night Good Night Etc
Patchwork Staccato tuning was great if you were there to hear it live. It only people online who weren't at the concert complaining about it. Coming from a Mirai veteran that's been going every year since 2014 ;)
As a MARETU fan, Brain Revolution Girl CARRIED Magical Mirai 2021 fr fr I wasn’t even there and I freaked the hell out finding out it got a live performance
The 2019 concert will always be my favorite I remember watching a live stream of it and screeching when Romeo and Cinderella stared playing like I heard the first four notes and had a seizure
