Happy Halloween ;)
This idea was taken from paulsvids' Shed 17.
It's based on the 1984 Nuclear Flask test, in which a Class 46 diesel was sent at high speed into an empty nuclear flask, in order to test the security of the flask.

I recorded the music myself with my squier telecaster. I enjoyed trying to set the tone and tell the story with the music, as it flows from sad to happy to fearful.

It is all based on an actual experiment that British Rail and the Central Electricity Generating Board did in 1984. They took a withdrawn peak locomotive 46009, and set it off down the Old Dalby test track near Melton Mowbray. It then crashed into a MAGNOX flask that had been placed across the line. They named the experiment Operation Smash Hit.

I know I'm late commenting on this but this is horrifically amazing. The simple name "Flask" gives off an errie vibe, to those who know about this incident. Either way, stellar short varying from the filming and music.
