FLAT OUT In My Porsche 991 GT3 On The Nurburgring! (Finally!) 

Thanks for all the support and awesome feedback everyone, my first time on the Nurburgring in my own car and only my second ever time driving here so there is a LOT to learn! But I’ll be back - getting those lap times down and practicing for some races! 😃🤘🏼

I started watching Paul ( SOL ) about 5 years ago, he actually inspired me to purchase an R8, then I began to watch you along with a few other Tubers. I purchased a Porsche GTS which was great but I just felt there was more to life and then you ordered your Miami Blue GT3. After seeing Tim and others order GT3’s I was hooked I was lucky enough to obtain a build slot so I specced a Manual GT3, it arrived a couple of months ago and it’s a “Keeper” . Thanks for the inspiration and great content, STG and Shmee150 have made it to New Zealand it must be time for you and Paul to check out the Land of the Long White Cloud !! Cheers

James, you are in a position to give a valid opinion on a PDK and a Manual 911. I personally cannot get excited by new cars when they are test-driven and showcased on youtube with the new transmission manufacture are placing in them. Please sit down on a rainy winter day and give us your feedback on the difference between both 911 and the smile factors. Thx... Yep, for someone who hasn’t done many laps on the ring you have definitely got the hang of it! FFS don’t start chasing times, just go have fun and as you’ve already demonstrated be patient with the other drivers. I did think for a minute that the 46m3 was going to spoil your day..... Great lap dude 👌🏻

MrJWW It takes someone with an acute knowledge of sports cars and what refining of the 911 over the last 70 years to chose a Porsche over a Ford GT or a Senna. And if that wasn’t enough to then hunt down a Manual transmission over PDK. Anyone who has played video games can drive paddle shifters, but a true race car driver would go with three pedals. It is the feeling that is delivered through the pedals(heel and toe), steering and gear shift that makes the drive exhilarating. Love your videos and keep doing your thing, you are doing it right. You are always making the right choices when it comes to cars and business. 911 PRODUCT over anything.

I was lucky to drive the ring in an e92 M3 which was bucket list item for me. Love to drive it with the amount of traffic you had as we did it on a touristfahrten and it was nuts. If I ever take European delivery I would love to take my own car on the ring. You guys from Europe are so lucky!
