I love it... Watched it 3 times already. Mr. Quarterley is hilarious! We need a Dale Quarterley Uncensored. Great episode.

He's a character, and knows what he's talking about. I'd love to go uncensored, but RU-vid would likely demonetize the video which makes it harder to to find our content. So you'll have to use your imagination for now. Thanks for the comment. Cheers!

Thank You. Watched all three. Taking notes. I road race as well as Dirt track in AHRMA (59c) and I understand there is negative transfer between the two disciplines. But there is some positive transfer as well. All noted. Thank you.

Great topic and to the point treatment of what to do to get the bike to behave. I had the lightbulb moment last season and it made a dramatic change to my riding. However, keeping the lightbulb “lit” does take consistent work and practice. Every track accident I’ve had I can attribute to being tired, distracted, or just plain off on my BP and not making the turn as easily as it should be made and over correcting with brakes or throttle and going down. I’ve been focusing more on my fitness to address this and am looking forward to seeing the results soon.

Great to hear! And I can say all that is true for myself as well. The focus and fitness it takes to click off "robot mode" laps where everything is done correctly is hard to explain to someone who hasn't really tried to do it 8, 10, 15 laps in a row. Glad to have your input.

I don’t race or do track days (maybe one day), but I am always interested in the theory. I’ve read some of the famous books, and watched hours of videos, but I think Dale just speaks my language. Honestly, it was a bit of a lightbulb moment for me listening to this conversation. Great stuff, and thanks for sharing!

Dale is so good at making me think about my riding that I have trouble keeping up with his thoughts in real time.

As always invaluable information. Thanks! Question: can you compare the weight distribution of a reference flat track bike with the wrong seating position and the right one? I mean knowing the full rider+bike weight, a scale on the front and a block of the same height under the rear, it would be really easy to make an interesting video! It would also be useful for who has a vintage flat track bike (like a dr350, just saying) and wants to change the fuel tank to allow a more forward seat to be used!
