I'm glad I'm not the only natural who just started enjoying their hair again. I just couldn't get my curls to pop like they once did. And now that I've added hot oil and protein treatments to my regimen I've falling in love with my hair again.

Wow I loved this tutorial. I know you felt like you has a lot of trouble with it, but the end result is just as fabulous as that hair. I rarely comment on your videos, but I had to share. I actually loved the pre info you gave and then the video with pop up tips. I felt like i could take out a pen and pad and take notes. Even the tempo of the music help. The mellow but not slow tempo seemed to emphasize the need to take your time and do it well. I don't know if that was your intention, but the video came across well done. I would love more tutorials like this!

I got my hair flat ironed for my 21st birthday in march and I got heat damage over my entire head and the back section is completely straight. I was only wearing buns for the longest until I saw this video and decided to try it a couple weeks ago. I absolutely loved it and so did everyone else including my boyfriend! It's now my goto style! Hey Yolanda, I don't know if you remember me but we met at the hibachi restaurant a while ago with my family and my father and your boyfriend are frat brothers, and it was both my dad's and I think Skylar's birthday on April 28th. Well anyway I got really excited to do this hair style, I bought the products and everything, but when I began to do it I realized that I couldn't flat twist my hair. I tried by watching you do it and I even watched other videos but I just couldn't get it right. Do you have any suggestions that would possibly help me? I would really appreciate any information. Hair is looks great. I have these product s and was not happy with them. After watching your tutorial I realize my mistake. Too much product will not give you the look you want, tfs. Cheers! You are an awesome teacher.

Your hair is gorgeous. I can't braid or flat twist. But even a simple twist out my hair looks thin and flat. So I just wet it everyday which I'm so tired of doing. 😩

Question? How do you do this with the loc method? Do you have to wash and loc and let dry and then come back and use these products to do style? Your hair looks amazing your videos have helped so much keep being so inspiring!!!!!

+njerna jet This has come up a few times. The LOC METHOD should be done during wash day! That's when your hair will absorb everything! This video is the styling process. The two products shown are pretty much the loc method in a bottle...the ingredients will kinda separate once applied to your strands. If your hair is a bit dry before styling you can go ahead and use a little water and leave in on your ends and then apply the styling products. Its up to you. Your hair looks great. I've found that I get this same flourish during the winter months using the twisting butter. It has failed me in the summer so many times, so I had to switch back to Shea moisture for summer styling.
