Hello and welcome to my channel ! In today's video I am going to be doing a flat twist updo on my mom's natural hair. This is a very quick and easy style that you can wear for any occasion. She normally goes to the salon to get this style but she was not able to get in so I came to the rescue. I thought it would be nice for you guys to see me do this style and I really hope that you enjoy it!

Beautiful head of thick hair. Wish mine's was still like this. Same hair color, and you did a marvelous job on her hair!Two strands twists are only what my Stylist has recommended since I found her a year ago. Will be directing her to check this out for new styling ideas and adding to my collection for changes.

BEAUTIFUL 😍 I did something similar for myself recently and it lasted 2 weeks! I feel you with the million Bobby Pins. I try to use the longer ones though so that I don't have to use as many. But AWESOME JOB!

You are so right! now what I do for her is a bun in the back instead so she doesn’t have to use them at all bc it’s just too much lol and thank you ❤️ (I will post an updated twist up style soon)

You did a great job and your Mom's hair is nice and healthy. Any tips on how to care for Salt and Pepper Natural hair because I'm struggling to keep it moisturized.

Thank you so much! I used Cantu Argan Oil Leave in Conditioning Repair Cream. It is very thick and creamy although it does tend to leave a white residue if you use a lot it still keeps the hair moisturized. I oil the scalp as well with a hair oil. She leaves her hair in these types of styles for at least 2-3 weeks.
