That's a good session mate, I have been to Swan but not lucky, I will still keep trying. Are they also biting during noon time or only arvo and morning? Cheers
I am usually out pretty early mate as on dad duties during the day haha. I rhink if rising tide will still be good in the middle of day as long as not too roasting hot
Cheers mate! I went and had a poke around east perth for the first time in ages. Was a donnut session and water was very dirty from steong winds but definitely going to try and target them a bit more next month 👍👍
Get amongst it mate, I’ve caught 12 one session and 4 on another session using OSP bent minnow on a early run in high high. 👌🏻 I’m on Sth Coast NSW though…
I'm loving the Hyper rod for Peel whiting - distance casting. Onya for that tip cob'. Heaps flatties in the Swan. I use Assist hooks at the end and either nothing or Owner 10 trebles at the front. Onya.
Can I ask how you've been going on the whiting down in Mandurah? This is my first summer targeting them and it's been really hit or miss for me. I've been having one good day for every 4 or 5 tough ones..... is that standard or do I need to up my game??
@eatayoutubed1ck I was there today and there was quite a lot of blowies. Not as bad as the swan in my experience but i hooked quite a few.... if you're using lures it's not that big a deal imo. Just throw em back and keep fishing.
Hey Brian I am one of those people that lose their glasses every six months so I tend to just use a 50-100 pair of polarised usually Carve or Live. They work fine for the flats but I have used mako sunglasses in the past and they are much better but around 300.
