Yeah, it hurt my soul when he got shut down. I’d love to have a game start like that, I don’t get why the first response was snapping at him. I know I’m too sensitive for VC but that would have tilted me so hard

i say stupid stuff constantly and play terribly (i’m hard stuck bronze 3 because of this)

I have a voice similar to tracer and am Bronze as well, but every time I'm in VC I voice act and people always say stuff like "best vc I was a part of" and usually are super friendly. I think if you don't stop being positive it carries into it. Had some toxic people trying to be toxic but as long as I answer playfully and show that I don't care I can carry on with my silly act since they get tired of not getting a reaction out. After all, I'm there to make other nice people have fun and encourage them by cheering for them in game, not to let toxic people have fun and stop me from doing so! Same on my support in Plat, I just keep saying nice stuff and eventually someone smiles. Be that in their voice or on text. Never give up!

@@Cuddlingus Watch an actual Mercy main like eleyzhau play Mercy and then watch Flats play Mercy and tell me he's a good Mercy player lol I dont even think his settings for Mercy are great as he generally has to look at where he wants to SJ to instead of just jumping there. And him standing out in the open constantly is just a bronze-level Mercy mistake. That being said, of course he's going to be bad. He's a tank main. Those are two different roles played completely differently. Brig is really the only bridge support from Tank.

i prefer to look upwards and do the foward boost, it lets you gain height will still moving to wherever you are facing, and super jumping straight upwards can make you a really easy target.

He knows; he has did it before. He probably just didn't feel like it was safe to use it.

There’s a time and place for using certain techs, this wasn’t one of those times.

The superjump tech is more for information gathering and is on a slightly longer cd compared to forwards GA (forward GA's cd is based on how far you fly vs superjump's flat cd punishment). Forward GA is more for panic moments where you're trying to Bob and weave through a fight while superjump is more to find out where the 👹 you are. Flats was using the forward GA because he already knew exactly where everybody was so he didn't need to superjump. (That or he just forgor)

eleyzhau is probably the best Mercy main out there in terms of positioning, movement and overall knowledge of Mercy's kit. I dont think she does VODs though.

don't know your rank but I wouldn't sweat it too much. Damage boost isn't as important at lower ranks, DPS players will hit fewer shots and take more damage due to worse movement/positioning. Fights are also slower paced, so keeping everyone healthy is more valuable. And I'm not even talking like Bronze players, my DPS is Diamond and my Support is Masters, and there is a very noticeable difference between the two

i know this recommendation might make some ppl mad, but honestly u can just leave voice and focus on your own gameplay my man. dont worry too much about what ppl want at lower ranks and just focus on what's a good idea for the situation. it takes some time to figure out what the right thing to do is, but i found it much easier to focus on that once i stopped listening to my teammates tilting themselves lmao

if you check the time it went from 2:47 to 1:10 so he probably nanoed and they lost a fight or 2 then he switched

ow2 is set to have a new hero every other season and a new maps during the gaps. so seeing as we got shambali this season, next season *should* have a new hero, though ofc it depends if bluizzard can stick to this schedule or not

I do like the feeling of saving someone the long trip back from spawn, it's such a good feeling. But it's a good feeling that must be often be suppressed when the urge comes because if you go for every rez, you will get punished a lot as Mercy. So yeah I can totally relate to this.

For tips go watch actual Mercy main. Not saying flat is a bad Mercy but, he does so many bad rez and questionnable choices. I dunno if it was a top 500 game but it was not a top 500 mercy level. Again, not saying he's bad at mercy but he's not the best. Gulpy is a good Mercy main if I coul recommand them. They does many unranked to GM mercy only with a lot of tips.

Was watching Flats recently play Mercy and he said he didn't have that button bound for some reason so he only uses the directional jumps, he may have fixed it by now tho ^^

Cool thing about support is that u can make good comps out of most characters, you don't really need to flex mercy at all. Think about this: there's people that ONLY play mercy despite the comp and a lot of them do very well. U can play all these other heroes u mentioned, and the same goes for them, u can make good comps out of only them. Personally I'm able to fit most current meta comps with Bap alone, Zen swap when playing ball tracer
