nope he gave up on hog during mauga meta, beginning of season 9 and decides when on certain maps he’d be powerless, he doesn’t even play roadhog. the last one though is when he’s in his normal top 10 elo.
Hog is flat out either broken or useless. The fact the hook tech has to be the most broken joke of code I’ve ever seen, being flipped around corners makes you feel cheated.

@seekthe9 he wasn't aiming at the head or the center of mass either, so yeah it's sloppy tracking. If he was targeting a smaller character he would have missed most of the shots
It's so fucking annoying. Idk why he's been putting in music like this. If we wanted that, we can play some in the background ourselves. Been suggesting to remove it since forever.

In the last patch whenever I faced Mauga as Hog, I would try to avoid getting burned, and when I did hook in a Mauga I would blow him up quickly. Mostly I wouldn't heal after I hooked until after the mauga died, cause my health didn't go up but his did. Did that change? I see Cyx hooking in and healing in front of Mauga a good bit.
Not sure if this is remotely "right". But when I do play hog vs mauga. After I hook to displace him unless I know 100% I can burn him fast. I immediately hit my breather to reduce his dmg/heal and los. The displace is my job, him dying is my teams. Otherwise I feel like I am just a giant health battery and once that's the situation I can't escape
@@cortiz8726 that is from the fire damage that’s ticking from the left click. you can clearly see that flats is missing. if he didnt miss a bunch of shots, cyx would have died there
Honestly why dont they make it to where when cardiac ends you cant run for a few seconds Cuz the amount of time mauga can run immediately after hes done burning through your health hurts
Everyone trys mauga to counter hog but I win those fights 9 times out of 10. Teams that coordinate around the mauga can be difficult but the matchup is fairly even because theyre both just so high damage high survivability
someone who actually gets it. too much hate towards Flats here. he did what he could but the sombra diff and tracer just not being impactful is what made the difference.
@Velakor9150 I peak t230 on support ,I can tell you flats got diffed left and right in this game. His positioning is not terrible, but his cool down usage is really bad , like low diamond/plat bad.
I am surprised you didnt hook maugu off the point over and over again. To waste his time walking back up over and over. Easiest way to avoid his damage and debuffs.
flats takes every opportunity he gets to shame orisa players cause they are "no skill no fun" but it's his most played tank by far and the only hero he switches too instantly when some other tank doesn't work.....peasant indeed
the problem was DPS diff. their sombra didn't get anywhere near as much value as Cyx's and the tracer didn't do much either. Hanzo popped off and Sombra enabled alot of plays
These comments about flats being boosted are stupid. Cyx is very good. Any tank that does not deserve his top 500 rank would never even get 1 map on cyx
Sooo, is dafran stupid for calling flats boosted? Do you have any evidence to show that flats wins more games solo queue? Cuz there is a youtube video that breaks down 300 of his games this season showing quite the contrary😂🫵
He used to in ow1 , but I haven’t seen much recently. My theory is maybe you get just a bit more ranking up being solo and he’s trying to squeeze that out and maybe he doesn’t want to be annoyed by people saying he’s boosting the duo. But that’s just wild thinking ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I enjoy watching your videos @cyx but the music being used in the last few months in the RU-vid vids makes it really difficult for me to enjoy all the way through, super repetative and awful tones. Hope the editors can choose something new and subtle going forwards
