Flats Takes On NEW Wrath of the Bride PvE Mission in Overwatch 2 

For the Easter eggs, there are 2 challenges that are practically Easter eggs that give you a vc for kiriko and sojourn. For the first, there is a small door upstairs in the tavern that you can interact with. Once you've interacted with it 4 times, it will make a loud noise and the challenge will complete. As for the other, the spawn in eichenwalde is now a blocked off room in addlesbrunde. A door in the waterfilled area will slightly lift up after you defeat the summoner. Crouch under the door to get in, and you'll get the challenge done. There's also a challenge for spotting the banshee all 7 times whilst you're searching for the key. The best strategy for that one is to have your team split up.

My favorite part about this new event is that it really feels like a haunted house. The back and forth layout of the story that maximizes a majority of the map and includes extra locations custom made for the story. The way the Sigma chases you through the back hallways like an actor that you can't touch, but they can touch you. The various jump scares. Having been through a more premium haunted house about a week ago, the resemblance in the feeling this map has, and the feeling the actual haunted house gave me, are incredibly similar. No other video game has quite matched the vibe as well as I feel this event has.

I love how people are having genuine fun exploring this mode on a blind run as a group. With so much of Overwatch being an intense PVP grind against other human players, it's really refreshing to see high skill players just having a laugh as they discover new Overwatch content like this.

People really thought there was no new content to play becusse of reddit. If this is what the pve will be like at a base level I'm gonna enjoy it a lot.

This makes me so excited for the PvE mode! This update was really fun!

it is really disappointing that we can't get Skins through playing but the pve mode is really fire!

The jump scares with moria are a nice touch. They can do some crazy stuff when the actual story mode dropsn

I’m glad they are having fun, but god am I glad I wasn’t in a vc the first time I did this and had the music up with headphones. The dialogue is so good and they are just talking over it.

I really hope you guys do a lot of this sort of thing when the PvE campaign comes out... I actually enjoyed watching this more than watching your PvP stuff... really want to see you guys tackle these things on the hardest difficulty.

This event makes me look forward for the PvE content to come out. So much fun doing this with friends.

I love the PvE. It is actually really fun and a really good intro to what's to come with the proper campaign, it's just so sad it's overshadowed by the crazy shop prices ;^;

This is the plan • reconstruct broken onmics • look for distractions • lure the banshee • create puppet • carve gargoyles • convince the countess • wake up the ghost • revive the summoner • search for the death • get away from the witch • deal with the guards • clear the place • capture the lord • get revenge

another little easter egg my friends and i found was you can wave hello at the dog painting at 14:05 and it will bark back

you should really turn on details for this. you missed dancing brooms, floating beer kegs, among other cool scenic things

The dead echo part reminded me of the haunted mansion in resident evil 8.

I know you don't usually play with music, but for PvE events, you really should turn it on to get the full experience. You get some really cool sound queues etc and the music is just sick.

When I saw this come out and after playing it myself. I went straight to the leaderboard and I just see Emongg, Seagull, KarQ and you Flats being already ontop of the leaderboard when finishing my own game. I forgot to watch this video straight after I finished playing, I was tired after the game and seeing you on the leaderboard, now I got this in my recommended so ima go watch this and see how you guys got to the top of the leaderboard in this new story mode, how you react to the new story mode, how many fails/wins you had to get to the top, and see if any of ya got really scared. 👍 😂

Am i the only one who noticed the bloodborne easter egg :D you know the room with the lantern when the ghost is chasing you. In the normal map its a sword with a flame on it a clear reference to dark souls bonfire and bonfires in bloodborne are lanterns

I feel like this game has a lot of potential for end-game pve content, like raids in Destiny 2.

This mission is pretty sick tbh.

Hey Flats, new viewer here, just got into watching a bunch of overwatch content with the release of overwatch 2 and I've been binging all of the recent videos of a couple different creators, yourself included. I wanted to say that your content is pretty refreshing compared to other OW2 youtubers, super for example, since you're so much more positive. a lot of the others are pretty toxic and get tilted way too easily, and its nice to get a break from the constant negative vibes with one of your videos! (not that their content is bad, its fun to watch but it gets tiring sometimes.)

i played this with friends for hours last night! the last sombra fight was the worst

i like that they made expert actually difficult. as someone who could breeze through even legendary in archives, the fact that ive died countless times and even had an entire team wipe on expert makes me nervous to try legendary...but also happy theres an actual challenge now.

This is almost exactly the kind of thing that I wish for in the upcoming PvE mode, overall reminds me of Shadows of Evil. But I really wish they'd take a more subtle approach to progression like Call of Duty does, maybe not AS subtle, I just really hate the "blow up door with Ashe dynamite" text box solution, as if the players were too dumb to figure things out on their own. Just put "interact to take dynamite" on an inconspicuous box laying around and players will put two and two together. If they really are too stupid for that they can still look it up online. Optimally they'd just copy and paste the CoD Zombies formula in some way to be honest.

This felt even more like a TTRPG session than regular Junkestein, except this time the DM had been reading about horror campaigns and how to build dungeons.

i literally watched this to find out if I'm the only one or if blizzard needs to reassess the lighting. i was flying blind in a majority of the map where things get dark, so it does seem like they could of created this with better lighting, and I'm not knocking the spooky dark vibes but i think we all would enjoy not having to adjust brightness/gamma/contrast settings outside of ow just to enjoy this very neat pve mission. outside of not seeing very well i enjoyed the layout on concept. i would like to note that this reminded me on how irrelevant junker queens shot gun is its a shot gun, why the hell does it look like it does about as much damage as a torb hammer if not less

There were a few things I enjoyed about this mission, but after doing it multiple times for some of the challenges, I have no desire to touch it again. With all the close quarters fights, Ashe feels like a bad choice. And whose goddamn idea was it to have you run from an invincible enemy and fill the hallways with zomnics that explode at the slightest touch? The final fight is even worse. You'll be chasing after Sombra or running from Sigma, and zomnics will just spawn right in front of you before you even have time to react. Yeah, real fun gameplay right there.

Reminds me a lot of COD Zombies and I loved zombies back then

I enjoy playing the archive missions more tbh, after a day it’s already getting repetitive. I can’t see anyone playing through this more than a couple times without getting bored. Nothing game changing

I've heard a lot of negative opinions about this game mode but it looks pretty fun. If the PvE campaign is anything like it I'm excited to try it out.

The mission was a lot of fun, but only the first time, it has no replay value

I honestly do not like this event at the moment. 1. The characters are scarily limited and the only one of them I play any decently at is the junker queen 2. I feel like when I see people playing the other 3 characters they totally forget about their mobility 3. God help you if you get queued up with bad players who don't help especially on anything above story difficulty 4. Why did they have to make everything so tanky and unkillable, it is faster to let zomnics and tires explode into you than it is to kill them 5. Fuck expert difficulty and higher

They really did a bad job balancing this mode. It feels like it is made for 5 people and not 4. They should be more lenient in pve content .. its not fun solo queing.

Is it just this map for 30 bucks? Nothing more? Great map, I'd love to play this but gosh blizzard why u so greedy.
