Evening mate, I caught one of turbot you mentioned, best bet is to fish outside the toilets and the cafe next to the car park about 100yards to the right of your position in this video. I used sandeel wrapped in mackerel skin. All the best

I eat most fish flounder from an open beach edible from the river just put them back had dab and whiting on the same pate the other day dab definitely alot nicer keep up the good work ❤❤

Next time you come down to Eastbourne give me a shout and I'll put you on the fish. I had Turbot last year off Eastbourne

Hello Rhys, that was a shore rockling although it has three beards, the actual Three bearded rockling is a much larger species and normally has quite mottled colours, good to get you boys back on the beach thankyou

To be fair I’m with the chef I hate Dab but like flounder 😂

Also try hordle beach near the new forest lots of small eyes and a decent chance of a turbot apparently in the summer

Dabs are the best.flounders are OK if from clean beaches.

Flounder caught in the river don't taste good. Catch em off the beach and they are fine.

Dabs all day long, small and sweet from the sea, too simple for most Chefs and need to be eaten ASAP. Flounder from a river always goes back, from the sea is the only chance of it being barely edible then only if it not spawny , a chef however will cover it in sauce and garlic and charge you 20 quid for what's really crab pot fish.
