Lol...what he'sdoing is beyond easy. Try building a shower from scratch, making all studs perfectly flat, level, and plumb walls, using 3 different types/sized tiles, different patterns, then drill holes all over in the porcelain to install safety rails, a fold down seat, custom stone for the curb, everything waterproofed, 1" hex mosaic for the floor pan, metal trim, difficult epoxy grout everywhere and silicone for all vertices. Now THAT is difficult work. Oh, then install a fancy sliding glass door enclosure and tile and grout the ceiling, too.

Reminds me of when I knew nothing about painting .. I had yet to work out how and why experienced painters did what they did .. eventually .. it came to me .. the deliberate stroke .. same with that trowel
Love ur work and nice job. U no and I no what going to happen to them lbc brick on edge after a couple of winters. Nice house brick shit capping. Made that mistake on my own place with the Claydon. Keep up the good work 👍
It's called cut and struck it was meant for the water to drip off of but it's also used for ornamental features but also a sign of how good the brickie is at his job . Me being a brickie myself id give him 12 out of 10 for this job its a work of art 🎨
Love the top pointing idea the the flat trowel never seen that and quality work plus it looks as though you have the right amount of cement not like the bricks who build wall with almost all sand and the wall knackered in a year well done
Nice job Just wondering if you could start a a gallery for people to post pictures of how they would have done it , properly or better Like to actually see some back up to all the criticism 😂
@@BenRickwood-z8h Negative comments are not opinions, it's lack of experience, naivety, and a desire to get likes from other idiots that have no idea what they are talking about.
A little trick for you sir. Get a 2 x 3 inch wide piece of hard board (you choose the length) gaffer tape then together, place one on top of the bricks and allow the other to fall over the edge, and you'll have a pucker straight edge to go to with our the faff of a pencil. Simple😉
I'm a chippie and i don't get how quality brickies like you can do this yet I have to try and build roofs on top of extensions that are 90mm out of square and 120mm off level?
