Important Info: Four yrs ago, I was being tested every 6 mths via a Ultra Sound Test bcos I had Nodules and a Goiter with nodules in it & the Endocrinologist wanted to monitor my Thyroid in case it turned into Cancer. Well, I took matters into my own hands. I googled: The Thyroid Hates Gluten. So I dumped all gluten foods. I started to take Moringa Powder 1/2 tsp, 2x/D on a empty stomach and I only ate Organic Sprouted Bread which was "Fermented for 24 hrs before baking". That's the most important part. Fermenting the Sourdough Bread for 24 hrs. Why? The long the Ferment period, the lower the Gluten content in the bread or sourdough pancakes, waffles, muffins. At the end of the 2 mth period, 2 weeks later was my 6 mth Ultra Sound Test & it FREAKED OUT the technician & the next day, at 7:00 am, two Endocrinologists & my GP called me to ask exactly what I was doing bcos they never have seen such a Miraculous Cure. Fast Forward to today. Apparently since that time 4 yrs ago, today they no longer analyze and treat the Thyroid like they have been all of these decades. I was told that they no longer are in a hurry to kill & remove the Thyroid if they find Cancer in it. I live in Canada, Ontario and all this happened here. btw: When I get lazy and cheat with the American type of diet, my Thyroid problems come back. And I have to go thru the above protocol to cure it.

Thank you for all your detailed information and congratulations on taking your health in your own hands and getting such amazing results. I believe you 100% . I make my own sourdough bread and it does take around 24 hours and had no idea that it gets rid of the gluten

@@lindamorgan2678 - Thank you and yes, the long 24 hour ferment, allows the bacteria to eat up most of the gluten. Not all tho, bcos some gluten is needed for the bread to rise. Think of the starter you make, don't you always have to feed it? Yes, you do bcos the bacteria eats up the gluten. Google: Long-Fermented Breads for the Gluten-Sensitive Taste Great

My thyroid numbers were pretty normal until i did my annual bloodwork 2 weeks ago, and now my TSH is at 12.4, and my Free T4 is low, i don't know if i did something wrong with taking iodine, the iordoral 6.5 mgs, which i thought was a low amount. However, I'm very worried

This noninformation information video is frustrating. The information is “What it isn’t”

Check into Peter Osborne and David Brownstein, RE: thyroid health and recommendations about iodine. They cover a wide range of other important health information also, and are good medical practitioners. (IMHO) Personally, I've learned a lot - over the years - by listening extensively to both of them.

This man maybe very knowledgeable but this interview is all over the place. He seem hesitant to share information. I did not feel this was a helpful interview for me. He discussed medications as not being helpful but then things got confusing with diet….he does not discuss physiology at all. More confused now than when I started watching.

Dr. Alan Christianson is one of the most respected practitioners in the field of thyroid health. He's a wealth of knowledge and has great books out there that you can easily get on Amazon. These interviews could easily go for hours if we fully tapped into the breadth and depth of what these experts know. But, they have lives, practices, and other priorities outside of the time they graciously spend with us for these 30-60 minute chats. :)

I recommend listening to Dr. David Brownstein MD instead. He has had much clinical success, treating a great many patients. You will be able to learn from him, I think. His motivation / intention is different. He has published a lot (books, medical journal articles, etc.) and has done a great many interviews over the years. If you want to be well informed about iodine, research multiple experts. Then go with the ones who have the most persuasive arguments (and impressive credentials) to you. I recommend listening to Peter Osborne also. He goes into a great deal of detail about it, and covers nuance and specifics that you can learn from. Several video lectures/presentations (of his) on this platform.

one thing I want to understand more is how thyroid works together with other glands. Thyroid doesn't work alone
