Starting line- curve lever open- half a inch to a inch lever closed in the middle guard #1 1 inch up off gaurd #2 another inch off gaurd #1/12 Line up c cups Done!!
Dont dig in so harshly . scoop out or flick out in a light flick motion . If u dig in too hard itll create a new line u dont want and yes use your corners of the clipper.
Don’t fully close the lever. Fully closed up to the line, half open on the line, all the way open slightly higher. Then switch guard to one above and continue the process. Also use the corners of the blade flicking at the line gently, don’t go above the line, just go “on it”. Use thin combs as a guard too. Just work slowly until it becomes muscle memory
I find it amazing how majority of barbers and casmotologist on RU-vid use plastic guards but rarely do you find one who uses just Detachable blades on the cut.
@@xadrian-.-blessindopefeind3169 Barbers make enough to where they can afford the detachable blades. No excuses on having a set on hand. I’m a barber and I have a near complete set.
I’m gonna start cutting and this video makes it look easy but I know for a fact I’m gonna be struggling lol but all the best to me, thanks for this video!🙏🏼
Learning how to cut my own hair. I’m an artist who paints. I love to take pictures with my artwork. So it gets expensive getting 2 haircuts a week for my photos. This video is definitely informative!
I thought if you put the first guideline (bald line) in with a trimmer you also had to use a trimmer to take the line out bc even using a zero gapped clipper won’t take the bald line out.
@@dLw920 A good lining SHOULD look natural and NOT like it was created. All these modern day theatrics with the spray linings is like steroids, it's cheating.
@@nolifezay4636 I have long curly hair (Polynesian)...I don't bother with it anymore lol. Nowadays I just touch up my beard. Even that doesn't last but it ain't nothing but a few minutes to touch up.
They are style crafters absolute alphas or the one that starts with an R but they are basically the same with the stretch bar so it opens wider than normal. My favorite clippers for sure.
