Worn Blade

Here are eight interesting folding knives I found at a flea market. The condition of each knife varies. Some are almost new, others are very well worn.
The IXL Wostenholm Barlow is worthy of special note, as knives from Sheffield England are not very common in the United States. This particular example, while definitely used, is of a quality similar to something from GEC.
I also thought the Victorinox/Elinox "Automobile" knife was interesting, as it is the only folding knife that I have ever seen to feature a Catholic icon on the handle.
Stay tuned from more videos featuring these knives as I clean them up and learn more about them.

George Wostenholm made a great knife, so it's easy to see why someone used it so much. The " OIL THE JOINTS "stamp Was used by George Wostenholm from about the 30's-50's. Btw schrade predates Imperial, they were acquired by Schrade and both companies were bought by Taylor brands. They were recently bought by BTI tools. That second Imperial pen pattern is older, it predates the shell side construction. They were almost always inexpensive, but the steel is great.

Damn bro. Old Paris here in Oklahoma has BRAND NEW high quality knives for under $20. When I say brand new I mean not a scratch on them. And they’re mostly the big pocket knives (5 inches closed and 3 or 4 inch blades)

Sheffield knives were pretty popular in Canada. I have a couple of Joseph Rodgers from 1930s that didn't cost much. Come and visit Canada and check out the pawn shops and second hand stores over here!

You found some nice knives there! Our equivalent of a flea market is a car boot sale, but you very rarely see nice knives at one

I never buy a used knife unless the blades are 95% full. What's the point of having a knife that's so worn down it's unusable? I like to carry and use my old knives.

Unless you are going to use it for spare parts.

I'd be interested in buying one of those if you're interested in selling.
