The Pawn Shops are so out of touch with pricing and most people don’t realize You can buy brand new with full warranty for the used junk they are peddling. Go to Academy or other dealers and get brand new firearms, cheaper than what the Pawn Shops charging for used. I’ll spend my money elsewhere until they get their greed in check or at least learn real values of what they are peddling. Go out of business, I don’t care!
Pawn shops are all about bargaining. If you are knowledgeable and ask what’s the best price they can do 9/10 it’s not going to be the price on the tag. Then just do a little bargaining. start with a number lower than what you want to pay and meet somewhere around what you intended and is fair.
@@Bighannes410 it’s difficult to bargain or even talk with incompetents, I’ve got a local dumbass that talks more customers out of buying his junk than he sales. A lot of folks work in this industry that doesn’t know their head from their ass, mostly morons that inherit their money and have no idea of dollar values.
There is no way I would have passed those ducks up 0:28 , I buy them every time I see them, my grandfather is to blame for that !! Maybe that white and gold Girsan 92 would have gone home with me also !?!?
I would love to see a series on you & Bret competing to find the best defensive guns at each price point from $100 to $700 gun only. Then compete with the purchased guns at the range. 👍👍
Im convinced HiPoint's design team is a room full of blind folks. Either that, or they're INTENTIONALLY making ugly af guns in some kinda twisted practical joke or social experiment of "how hideous can we make something and it still sell?"
Agreed! There’s more competition in that price range and they’re still putting out these weird shooters. It’s almost like it’s a running joke at this point
Brett, because the real purpose of pawn shop hunting is finding something cool you kind of always wanted but couldnt really justify buying new 🤷 He was having tons of fun on that segway and he bought a glock and an ar15. Hell with the segway he can loose a leg and keep going 🤙
At 1:14 in your video The steel watch with the blue rectangular face seems very interesting. Could be a late 70's Seiko by my guess. I know you aren't in this for the watches, but boy I really kinda wonder what it is. If it was like $10 I woulda taken it running or not.
Owned the original 9mm HP many years ago...jam-o-matic. Carbines are a different story. Kinda sorta interested in that pistol just because you can get one that says yeet cannon on the side, lol. I'll have to watch your first shots review.
