I told my friend that mechanics with every tool, lift, and piece of literature don't impress me. what is impressive is guys like us working with limited tools on our backs in a driveway and a little bit of FAFO if you know what I mean.
On G bodies I use an engine hoist hooked to the trunk latch that way just have to jack the front of the car. I just picked up a 96 gonna lift the body to plate the top and outside frame rails and call it good
I have seen alot of people do that on big bodys the trunk latch bolts in and the latch itself is in a plastic case so that wouldnt work to good on this car but I have seen alot of g bodys and impalas done that way
