Fleetwood Mac - The Chain (bass cover with tabs in video) 

Just discovered a new J-Bass at a boot sale last weekend, bought it on a total whim; I never touched a bass before .... I'm 64... Then I discovered Harry and I'm enthused to learn to play it. Thanks for your videos, you're what makes RU-vid so great!

the real test begins at bar 67 😭 i must keep practicing this until i get, this is what bass is all about right here, fucking holding down the ryhtem *EDIT* For those who are struggling, i got better at this by using my 2 finger on the 2nd fret and my 3 finger on the 3rd fret, as opposed to using your 1 finger on the 2nd fret and 2 finger on the first fret. Once I made that change, this section got much easier to play... Don't really know why it makes a difference, but it does, big time!

I really struggled to play part of this and I found Julia Hofer over on Thomann's Guitars played this song with tabs and I found her version much easier to play and it sounded more like the original. For anyone else out there struggling like I was. The chorus is still accurate though - the rest of the song not so much in my opinion.

I just started trying to learn bass (my first instrument since piano lessons 40 years ago). People were asking why I was learning a 5-string. "It matches the sound I hear in my head," was all I could say. No. It matches THIS sound. Apparently, I've been looking to recreate The Chain my whole life.
