Arizona retailer, Sam’s Furniture Outlet, was looking to expand one of their Tucson facilities with an 81,458 square-foot addition. Construction on the expansion, a PEMB featuring a 40 foot eave height, interior column spacing, insulated metal wall panels (IMP) and a standing seam metal roof was complicated by a skewed end wall and valley gutter between the addition and the existing structure.
In addition to the site challenges, the expansion needed to be completed without interruption to daily operations at the existing facility.
