Just stumble across this looking for painting alternatives for my flayed ones, and I am blown away...excellent job, one like and a subscription for you good sir
I've used the super-glue/pva technique on my Nurgle miniatures and bases for quite a long time, makes lovely organic textures. I use it in combination with water filter balls to represent clusters of spores. I've passed it on to a fair few hobbyists, it's nice to see a really informative and well made video using the technique to reach more people that might find it useful. Awesome video, keep up the great work :)
Wow! Finally some Necron Flayed Ones that actually look like Flayed Ones! The official GW minis were always too bland and clean looking to me. I think I'll have to steal this! Great job! And thanks for the tips, once again!
Wow, I've been wanting to know a good cheap way to make these type of blood and gore effects. Thanks a bunch and I'm super glad I subscribed. I'm definitely going to be watching all of your videos. Much Love!
Love it! Gotta get some pva glue. I'm painting a black dragon and I have a wolf familiar miniature for his mouth. He's a young dragon so a little gore would go a long way for his intimidation factor!
Dark Matter Workshop hey also, I’ve seen many games be talked about on this channel, so maybe you could like, do a few battle reports or just some games like gas lands. I don’t know, but it might be fun!
Dark Matter Workshop ok. I mean, I don’t care if ur crappy, I’m just saying, it’d be fun. I hope ur able to get some space, and also hope you’re necron army looks good. I’ve got some immortals right now, and I can’t wait to get just the right paints for them to look grim dark! Good luck!
Hey man, are you still doing this thready blood technique with the UHU glue? I purchased some, but it says UHU Alleskleber, rather than UHU Colle Tout or Alleslijm. I'm guessing that it's just language and nothing more, but I mixed my UHU Alleskleber with Blood for the Blood God and it didn't become very thready at all. I'm now wondering if this might be due to the texture paint itself and that I should maybe use a wash instead. I don't have the ink lying around you got, but I should get that, if the glue should theoretically be the same. Hope you still read replies on older videos.
Alleskleber = colle tout (french) Alleslijm (dutch) The glue is correct. But you need the tamiya for the thready reaction, doesn’t work without it. Cheers 😉
Niiiice, I'm definitely going to use some of this for my mid-battle Carcharadons :) Just curious, though, would you apply the PVA/superglue mix after the model's painted, so the colour of, say, chainblades has a chance to peek through, or do this as part of the modelling stage?
@@DarkMatterWorkshop Thx. Got any recommendation on a good skeleton kit? I'm chugging through a nurgle army and having the occasional rib cage would look cool.
I used parts from a VC skeleton kit ‘cause that’s what i had laying around. Bit expensive so i recommend the skeleton warriors by Warlord or buy some blue stuff and make some molds.
