The criticism I hear the most is that they can't understand the vocals. That's often true (though you do sort of learn to after listening to enough) but I'd counter with I can't understand what the guitars are saying either but I like the way that they sound. I see most metal bands as having vocalists, not singers. It doesn't have to make sense, it just sounds right.

Really tight performance, wish the female vocals and strings were a little higher in the mix though. Fleshgod are definitely cleaner than ever.

I used to ignore this band cause I thought they were either a total gimmick or just corny like Nightwish....I was so wrong. There is definitely an obvious gimmick but its done so well and they are so talented. I want to see them live so bad.

ok gimmick is the three front men are mermaids with hair to match, this is V’s side hustle cuz she has to leave and perform her opera tunes all over the world like Maria Callas, Genie the drummer is the Joker cuz he was the stunt double for Joaquin Phoenix and Moby left his solo career and joined FA and plays the piano now! So that’s it and most are Italian Genie is an honorary one so that’s why people love them cuz they’re pretty and from Italy!
